To create a controller configuration for a game, follow these steps...

From the Game Profiles window, click the 'Edit Configurations' button. The Controller Configurations window will appear.

Press the 'New Configuration' button to add a new configuration to the list. You will see the 'New Configuration' item has been added.

Modify the name of the new configuration as you would like it to appear throughout the program.

If you have multiple controller devices, use the dropdown box to select the device that you would like to use for this configuration.

If you have not already created the command set for this game profile, please read the How To Create a Command Set section of Pinncle Help. Once you have the command set for the game profile, proceed to the next step.

To assign a command to a button on your controller, simply move the mouse over the assignment label next to the name of the button, then click on the assignment label. This will display the assignment popup menu, which contains a list of all the commands that can be assigned to the button. Find the command you would like to assign, then click it to make the assignment. Continue to assign commands to the other controller buttons, then proceed to the next step.

If you have a direction pad on your controller device, then choose the 'D-Pad Style' that best suits this configuration. For an explaination of the different D-Pad styles, see the description in the Glossary section of Pinnacle Help. Assign the commands for each D-Pad direction in the same manner you assigned the commands to the buttons, then proceed to the next step.

If you have one or more joysticks on your controller device, then assign the joystick commands to the joysticks in the same manner you assigned the commands to the buttons. Notice that only a joystick command can be assigned to a joystick. Use the 'Joystick Setup' button to display the Joystick Setup window. From there you can adjust a joystick's sensitivity, deadzone, range, mapping, or even invert the vertical axis.

Press the 'Save and Close' button to close the Controller Configurations window. The new configuration is now ready and can be used to play your game.
