Deus Ex profile
I only got Pinnacle yesterday and this is the first profile I've tried to create (born out of my love for Deus Ex, combined with my inability to use a keyboard and Mouse effectively) so let me know if I've messed anything up, or if you want me to make some improvements.
There are two configurations in the profile: "Deus Ex Default" and "Deus Ex Advanced". "Default" uses Deus Ex's default control options. "Advanced" relies on a handful of changes to the Keyboard mappings in Deus Ex, but will give you additional functionality on the controller. Below are the additional mappings required to use "Advanced":
Deactivate All Augmentations: L
Activate Health Screen: H
Activate Augmentations Screen: J
Activate Skills Screen: N
Alternatively, replace the user.ini file in your Deus Ex "System" folder with the one included in my zip file. (Backup your old ini file first just in case!)
For a detailed breakdown of the controller mappings, read on.
General advice on the mapping layout.
Mappings with brackets on the end of them mean they require one of the additional mappings I mentioned in my important notice further up. The required key is shown inside the brackets. Most of the additional mappings are required simply because the mapping doesn't exist in the default control scheme, but for the "jump" button the mapping was changed from "space bar" to "enter" to assist with menu navigation (By making it "enter" you can press the "a" button to confirm choices in menus/dialogue/etc).
Any mapping separated with a Slash(/) means that the left side is the "Tap" mapping and the right side is the "Hold" mapping. They also have a light rumble effect on them to help remind you in-game that they are "tap/hold" mappings.
This is the regular layout for the Deus Ex Advanced configuration. Most of it should be self explanatory, but here are some notes on the less obvious mappings.
Nav Down and Nav Up on the D-Pad are to assist you with menu and dialogue navigation. They stand for "Navigation Down" and "Navigation Up" respectively.
There are three shifts in the control layout:
[*]Select Items (Hold L Shoulder) - This will shift to the Item Selection control layout. Note that tapping this button will select whichever item you had selected last in the shift layout; this is useful whenever you have to put your weapon away to pick something up and then want to pull it back out again in a single button press.
[*]Select Augs (Hold R Shoulder) - This will shift to the Aug Selection control layout. Note that tapping this button will select whichever augmentation you had selected last in the shift layout: this is useful for deactivating the last aug you had activated.
[*]Finer Movements (Hold L trigger) - This will shift to the Finer Movements control layout. This will slow down your aiming speed for better control, and will also allow you to lean left and right.
Shift - Item Selection layout
Access this layout by holding down the left shoulder button. It is used for selecting the items on your inventory belt. Each item slot is mapped to the controller (beginning at item 1 on the d-pad and then moving around the controller to item 0 on the left joystick).
Tapping the "a" button will cycle through each item, beginning at 1. Tapping the "b" button will cycle through each item in reverse.
Note that any item selected in this layout will become the "selected item". You can then access the "selected item" with a tap of the left shoulder button in the regular/unshifted layout.
Shift - Augmentation Selection
Access this layout by holding down the right shoulder button. It is used for activating and deactivating your augmentations.
Note that any augmentation selected in this layout will become the "selected aug". You can then access the "selected aug" with a tap of the right shoulder button in the regular/unshifted layout.
Also note that the "Light" aug is not in this layout (and subsequently cannot become a "selected aug") because it is already available by holding down the right joystick on the regular/unshifted layout.
I've tried to map this with an intuitive layout, which is probably best explained with a visual aid:
The idea is that the layout of the mappings mirror the layout of the augmentations menu. For the Torso and Subdermal mappings, you tap once for the first augmentation and either double tap or use the d-pad for the second.
Shift - Finer Movements
Access this layout by holding down the left trigger. This layout lowers your aiming sensitivity to allow for more precise aiming. You can also move the left analogue stick left and right to lean in those directions, or use the shoulder buttons for the same effect. The rest of the buttons are identical to the regular/unshifted layout.

Profile made for Deus Ex: Game Of The Year Edition. Found this old game in my archives...forgot about it, so I decided to make a profile for it. Took me quite a while to perfect it and make it run perfectly, so here it is. Please use the latest version of PGP to play with this profile.
Be sure that your changeammo control has L ... i set to defaults but it did not change that value which i had thought i added if changeammo does not work make it L and all will be fine.
**NOTE**LEFT BUMPER is the shift key to access other function (and must be held) four augs, laser sight, etc... if u dont like it im sorry but its only way i could fit everything useful on.. for instance select and start when shifted is QUICKLOAD and QUICKSAVE respectively...any questions just ask
**ALSO NOTE** i chose for f9 aug and f12 aug to be Y and X unshifted respectively because i use heal and light the most...
if u do not have the aug of course the button will not activate this aug...so please do not say "this does not work" if u dont have the aug/weapon mod installed etc....
