Hey all. New to the boards here, but have been monkeying with Pinnacle for a while. I'm in college right now, and I just had to send in my XBOX due to a RROD. Because I this I lately find myself trying to play some legacy games via BootCamp on my Mac, while hooked up to my 42" Toshiba. SS2 was a big favorite of mine, and I wanted to see if it was even possible to play such a complex game with just a 360 controller. The results were a bit better than I anticipated.

For you to get this config to work, you need to do two things. First, obviously import the PIN file into Pinnacle under the Game Profile. Second, you must copy the included Binds folder into your SS2 directory. Third (okay three things), you must load the Control profile titled "SS2-360" under the Control Options in System Shock 2. From there, you should be good to go.

If anyone has a chance to test it out, let me know what you think, and if you feel anything should be changed. I've spent quite a bit of time tweaking it to what I think is the best it can be, but I'd appreciate any feedback.

I've also been working on a profile for Deus Ex as well. While the control scheme I have works fairly well, I can't seem to find a good sensitivity for the mouse. No matter what it just feels to wonky and not precise enough. If anyone has found good mouse settings for Deus Ex, please let me know. Thanks!

The only profile I could find here for System Shock 2 was for an XBox controller (and the author says it doesn't even support leaning). I'm new to using Pinnacle Game Profiler (had a great idea to write something just like it, before finding this and others on the web already), so this is the first profile I've created. I hope it's worth posting here.

The attached archive includes the .PIN (profile) to load, as well as the controller layout as a .JPG image (same as below) and the full "readme" info as an .HTML document.

Right, this is my first profile. So expertness is not guaranteed.

I couldn't get the Lean commands in, but I'm not sure how important they are in-game...

First, you need to put the .bnd file into your install directory and overwrite your current one (I had to swap some bindings around). Then load the .pin and you're done! Have fun playing this in the run-up to BioShock (which I won't be making a profile for, seeing as though it's got 360 controller support built-in. Hurrah!)...

Please leave comments on how I could improve...
