Set FIRST PERSON MOVEMENT = SIDEWAYS in Silent Hill 4's options menu.

Here is a profile made for use with the Xbox 360 controller. It should also work for a variety of other similar controllers.

To use this profile you must replace the input.ini file that is located in the games root directory with the one located in the zip file with this profile.

Keep all in game control setting at there default settings for this profile to work correctly. I do suggest You change the first person movement control from rotate to sideways in the games control setting, however.
