author's profile notes
OK, so I made a profile from what I found on the internet for the controls for both the 360 and the PC.
Here is a copy of the Pin file extracted from the profile I made. Can a few people check it out and tell me if its right... That is, if you have both the game for 360 and PC. Reason is I'm thinking I might have a few of the keys set up wrong because the description was different between what was said for the 360 and the PC on http://www.allgame.com/cg/agg.dll?p=agg&sql=1:48083~T2 for PC Controls and http://www.allgame.com/cg/agg.dll?p=agg&sql=1:48083~T2 for 360 for some of the controls. Couldn't figure out what exactly I should put on a few of them.
P.S. To use this setup, you have to go into your config's in-game and set the keyboard to Compact as it uses some of the Keyboard 2 config presets.

Here we are; a Final Fantasy 11 profile.
I appologize if someone's already made it, but I couldn't find it.
This requires a little bit of effort on your part, simply because the controller has to be linked to keyboard keys and you don't want to be typing and moving or moving and typing when you don't want to be.
There's still the issue of Letters showing up in the typing field if you are typing 'and' moving the joysticks at the same time. So, if you want to keep running 'and' type, just use the autorun button.
The keys have all been done to simulate the exact way it is on Xbox360. The only buttons that don't do anything are Back, Start and R-Shoulder.
Now, in the Config > Misc 2, you'll want to change keyboard type from Full to Compact. This only generates one small issue; you need to press the space bar in order to start typing something. I've found it to be a small sacrifice.
You want to go down to Movement and Commands and erase everything save for Menu Command which is [-]. That needs to stay. You can also keep the (ctrl+*) for reply to tell, say, party, shout, tell... Everything else erase out. Now head back to Movement.
You want to set up Move Camera
[W] Up
[X] Down
[A] Left
[D] Right
Then Set up Menu/Target
Up
[K] Down
[J] Left
[O] Right
There you have it. Semi-perfectly functioning set up for your controller.
