Profile for Tomb Raider
Made for N3uRo
NOTE: Made for Dos Box version like the GOG version, Steam version and TR1 & Unfinished Business Vista/Vienna x32/64 setup v 1.6
For those who are playing this game via the GOG version and its not playing so good e.g. spinning menu and no fullscreen or partial fullscreen. Go to the GOG directory and open dosboxTR.conf using Notepad, go to the following lines where it says
windowresolution=original change it to your screen resolution. (Fixes windows resolution in game)
sensitivity=100 change it to about 50 for less sensitivity or adjust as you need. (Fixes the unusual high sensitivity in the game)
joysticktype=auto change it to none Disables the partial controller support. (Fixes so Pinnacle can emulate properly)
timed=true change it to false (Fixes spinning issue when game starts up and reaches the menu list)
The above adjustments can probably be used for Steam and any other Dosbox that gives support.
I've uploaded my dosboxTR.conf you can use it but make sure and go to line where it says windowresolution=original and change it to your screen resolution
Check profile notes for more info.
IMPORTANT: Last minute information while playing the game.
There seems to be a small glitch in TR1...as you play the game at some time randomly the keys on the keyboard are not working in the game. To solve the problem I found a solution by accident. Just press Alt + Tab and everything will start working again during gameplay.
I added the Alt + Tab to the Back button for easy convenience.
NOTE: This is not a fault in Pinnacle neither the game but Dosbox.
