I am really bad at making these but since I couldn't find a profile for BFME 2 on this site using Xbox 360 controller I was forced to give it a shot. There are more controls for the game than there are buttons on the controller so I had to leave off what I felt were the less important controls. Also, these controls were meant for single player so not sure if they would work on multiplayer.

The controls are as follows...

Y: E (select all units of a type)
X: Q (select all combat units on the map)
A: Left Mouse Button (select unit/building/etc.)
B: Right Mouse Button (order units to move to location/attack enemies)

Back: Tab (objectives menu)
Start: Pause

Guide Button: H (jump to primary fortress)

LB: Left Shift (used for some combos such as Shift + Left Mouse to add a new unit to your selected units)
RB: B (select nearest builder)

Left Trigger: Left Control (used for some combos such as CTRL + 0-9 to create unit groups)
Right Trigger: O (select all heroes)

D-Pad: Mapped to arrow keys

Left Joystick: Mapped to mouse at 40% sensitivity.
LJoy Button: Accent (display powers menu)
Right Joystick: Mapped to NUMpad numbers at 40% sensitivity (Up and Down are zoom out and zoom In. Right and Left are rotate right and left)
RJoy Button: Numpad 5 (reset camera to default position)

I only tried this profile for a couple minutes so far and it seems decent. I may change some things around just to see what I can do to try and make the controls better.

EDIT:

Added new config. The file "lotrbfme22" is the new file.

The new config has the right Joystick and D-pad changed around.

The D-pad now has Numpads 4,6,8, and 2 assigned. The D-pad up and down buttons are now zoom in and zoom out. The left and right buttons are now rotate camera left and right.

The right joystick now has the arrow keys assigned.

IMO, this new setup is better. There is one slight problem though that I can't figure out. The arrow keys make you move around the map fast and them being assigned to the joystick, it goes a little bit too fast. Changing sensitivity does nothing. I'm no expert on these things so I don't know if I can find a way to slow it down a bit. I'll work on it tomorrow and play around with some settings.
