Divinity: Original Sin profile
You can now play Divinity: Original Sin with a controller. Not only can you play it with a controller, you may never need to touch your keyboard and mouse again while playing (with the exception of typing in map waypoints and saved game names)!
A few notes:
*Pinnacle will prompt you to install a "game hook" when importing my profile. Install it, the profile won't work properly without it.
*You will need to point Pinnacle to the game's shortcut since I don't install games to their default location.
*There are two distinct ways to navigate Rivellon using my profile. First up is direct character control, just point the cursor where you want to go and hold in the A button. Secondly, you can use the right stick to pan around the map and tap A to move wherever the camera is positioned.
*Use the numbered hotkeys to choose dialog options.
*I build some force feedback into hotkeys 4, 5, 6, and 0 to let you know you've triggered a secondary command. Additionally, the force feedback applied to 0 ramps up from weak to strong to signify your character going from weak to strong after you've used a health kit.
*I find that the profile works best if you turn off edge scrolling in the game's options since you can use the right stick to move the camera around.
*The left trigger has Sniper Assist applied to help you have more fine control when interacting with the world.
*The profile is a work in progress. I'm happy with the overall basic functionality, but I plan on adding customized controls for inventory, map, and journal screens. To make these work Pinnacle's GoTo function needs to work properly, which at the moment is a bit buggy. If anyone has any suggestions for a work around I'd love to hear them.
Divinity Original Sin.pin
I have been playing Divinity: Original Sin with my own profile. I have been enjoying it, and have noticed there are few profiles available for this game.
I made this with the Playstation4 controller, however have included a profile for the 360 controller as well.
The idea here was to make the game feel comfortable to play yet maintain the ability to do everything (aside from typing) from the controller.
Comfortably play with your fingers rested on the triggers and quick access to dialog options with the dpad.
L1 performs two commands - Scan Area and Highlight Characters
L2 is used as a shift behavior key. Most notably modified is the behavior of the right analog stick. In this mode, it will both zoom and rotate the camera.
R1 is used to split stacks (Shift key)
R2 is activate(LMB).
*Hold (Circle/B) for context menu (RMB)
Left Analog - WASD
L3 - Sneak
Right Analog - Mouse
R3 - Attack Target / Shifted for tactical view
DPAD - 1(up),2(right),3(down),4(back)
DPAD (shifted via L2) - Prev Character, Pass Turn, Next Character, Sheathe
