For this profile, I tried to make it easy to remember as well as being an effective alternative to keyboard and mouse, As such there are very few UI shortcuts accessible as to not make things too complicated. You can easily access 3 hotbars with this profile! To accomplish this I made it so that 1, 2,3, and 4 are mapped to A, X, Y, and B respectively. The reason for this order is because I modeled it after RPG games that were developed for PC and ported to console (Dragon Age, Kingdoms of Alamur) that mapped skills 1, 2, and 3 to X, Y, and B. To easily fit all the skills onto a controller, I had to incorporate A as well. To access the next four skills you press and hold Right Trigger, and the last four with Left Trigger. But that's only the first hotbar. To access the second hotbar you would hold D-Pad down (mapped to Shift) and do the same thing, for example, If you wanted to access the 6th skill on the Second hotbar you would: 1: Hold the Right Trigger, 2: Hold Down on the D-Pad (Steps one and two can be executed in either order.), 3: Press X. And for the third hotbar its D-Pad Up (Mapped to Control). I hope I explained that well, trust me it becomes second nature after a while and you'll be executing skills very fast.
Next, I thought I'd explain the reasoning behind the mapping of the left and right mouse buttons. Left mouse is mapped to Right bumper and Right mouse to Left bumper. This is because I felt when using the camera to turn it was much more comfortable for me to hold the Right bumper. I don't know why I feel this way I just do, If you disagree, feel free to swap them. Lastly, Left and Right on the D-Pad change functions in each mode. In Unshifted mode Left is to mount and unmount, right is Pet skill 1 (Usually Run). In shift mode blue, Left and Right on the D-pad are A and D. This is so you can Turn a boat when your sailing one, Q and E dont work for this. And Finally, In shift mode red Left and Right are mouse wheel up and down (useful for rotating furniture and zooming on your character.)
For this profile to work correctly the following keybinds need to be added:
1: Map Mount / Dismount to R
2:Map Pet Skill 1 to T
3: Map Hotbar 3 Skill 1 - Skill 12 to Control+1 to Control+=
Thanks and enjoy the profile!!!
