Here is a profile for Unreal Gold that I made for use with the xbox 360 controller. This profile can also be used with a variety of similar gamepads.

the start button is a double command with both quicksave and quickload on the same button.
be sure to keep all of the games control related settings set to there defaults, however I recommend that the auto aim and mouse smooth options be used.
the movement has the walk command integrated so if you press the left stick below 85% your character will walk instead of run.

I did not design this profile for use with the game menu do to the odd choice on the part of epic of making the mouse y axis inverted by default.
