author's profile notes
Here's an Xbox 360 gamepad profile I made for the pc version of Silent Hill 2. I've created a command set for all the default keyboard settings except for quicksave/quickload. A few things you should know - SH2 is picking up both the profiler commands and the gamepad buttons at the same time, which can cause some probs while playing. To fix this, go to the control options in the game and set all the gamepad controls to the same button - as you set each control it will clear the previous one, making it unassinged to any gamepad button. When all other controls are cleared from the gamepad column of the control setup, you can then set that button to either quicksave or quickload. (I used the back button for this, and left it unassigned in the profile)
Also, I'm playing Silent Hill 2 through gametap so if you have the original retail version you'll need to change the .exe target in the profile settings
