As the the topic impies, I haved re-done the advent rising configurations for the 360 controller. I am no longer using the xbcd drivers, as I wanted to enjoy my madden 07 with full Ximput support. All controls ingame will work as they did on the original xbox controler, with the primary differences being in the placement of the right and left trigger buttons over the white/black buttons.

This was a total pain in the ass, and the rar comes with two files. the first is the pin, obviously. the second is a Mydefuser.ini that you will need to replace in order to make my setup work properly. The file can be found the the SYSTEM directory of your Advent Rising installation folder. In order to make this profile work properly, I had to revise the ini, the 360's right stick and trigers are not properly implemented in the game, so I disabled the Z axis altogether, giving them button assignments in pgp. then I remapped the up/down and turning axes. I advise you to not open the controls menu in game. It will add the default axes to the modified ones, and the z axis(the triggers) will cause the camera to spin uncontrollably.

In the menu, the D-pad will navigate, the A button accepts, and the Start button is mapped to escape, for pause functions, and escaping out of a menu. Ingame, there are only a few controls mapped to the profile. The triggers are set to fire, and i combined some functions to map the X & Y buttons exactly like the xbox version handles. D-pad down will switch grenades, left/right switches weapons or targets and Up will enter the weapon/power select mode. Other than that, I have the other controller buttons mapped through the game's setup. RB throws grenade, LB toggles alt fire, A jumps, B for melee, L3 for crouch and R3 for view toggle. Lemme know if there's anything youd like changed or something. Ill also be doing a profile for as DualShock Controller and a Saitek P2600, Ill bump the topic after they are finished.

If you are interested in using this for something other than 360 controller, you may not have to change your axis mappings. just thought that would be worth a mention. :D
To use your Xbox 360 controller you must first disable the games default gamepad configurations...here's how.

in the games directory (...\Advent Rising\System) are two files...Default and MyDefault...within both files is a parameter that looks like this "UseJoystick=True" make that =False in both files. Now with this profile loaded you will be able to use Pinnacle's Game Profiler and re-assign your keys anyway you like (though I suggest using the Keyboard/Mouse defaults and just change the Use/Dodge to "Shift".

Hope this helps for those who care.
