Navigation Links
The links at the top of this window are used to access the three main areas of the software: Preferences, PinnacleUpdate, and Game Profiles. The Game Profiles window is where you can manage your game profiles, and access many other windows that help you setup commands and configurations for your controller. Using the PinnacleUpdate window allows you to use the Internet to check for software and profile updates to download. The Preferences window has many different settings to customize the software, and also allows access to several other windows used to setup your devices for proper use throughout the program.

Play
Press the 'Play' button to launch the selected game profile with the chosen controller configuration. If you hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard when you click this button, then a popup menu with alternative launch options will appear.

Close
Press the 'Close' button to close the Pinnacle Startup window. To open the window again, simply double-click Pinnacle's icon in the system tray (by the clock).

Controller
Use the dropdown boxes to select the device and controller configuration you would like to use when you play the game. Only configurations available to the selected device are displayed in the config box.

Game Profiles
Select the game profile for the game you would like to play, then press the 'Play' button.

Show this screen when Pinnacle is Started
If this box is checked, the Pinnacle Startup window will be displayed when Pinnacle is started; otherwise, Pinnacle will start in the background. The startup window can always be accessed by double-clicking the tray icon or by using the context menu.

Profile Notes
Click the small pad and pencil icon to display the notes for the selected game. You can use notes to store cheat codes, tips, or any other information for the game. Any changes you make to the game's notes are saved automatically.

Notes and Tips

  • You can right-click on the PLAY button to display a popup menu with several different profile launch methods.
