Welcome to the ImageGuide Designer
An ImageGuide is a picture of your controller with highlighting images that appear to guide you while assigning commands for a profile. The first page of the wizard will ask you to supply a picture of your controller, and then the next page will allow you to add the highlighting images for each of your buttons, directions pads, and joysticks.




Control
Choose a button, joystick, or d-pad direction from the dropdown box to assign an image highlight for that control. Or you can select a control using the tree list in the corner of the window.

Position
These boxes display the current horizontal and vertical position of the image highlight on the controller image. You can use the up/down arrows to fine tune the position after you drag an image highlight onto the controller image.

Image Highlights
Select the image highlight that best fits the shape of the control that you wish to highlight. For instance, when setting the highlight for Button X, you may choose a circle-shaped highlight. Press the left mouse button down, drag the highlight onto the controller image, then release the mouse button when the highlight is in place over Button X on the controller image.

Highlight Color
Adjust the color of the available image highlights using the color dropdown box.

Custom
Click the 'custom' link to import a custom image highlight for use in the ImageGuide. The image can be GIF, BMP, JPG, or JPEG format; however, GIF and BMP are recommended so that Pinnacle can automatically apply transparency to the background color of the custom image highlight.

Next/Back
Use the 'Next' and 'Back' buttons to move forward or backward through the ImageGuide Designer screens.

Cancel
Use the 'Cancel' button to discard the changes to the ImageGuide and close the ImageGuide Designer window.

Notes and Tips

  • You may be able to download an ImageGuide from PinnacleUpdate or from the sharing section of the Pinnacle Forum.
  • You can import/export ImageGuides using the 'Import' and 'Export' buttons on the Controller Configurations window.
