Keyboard Hot Keys For...
This list contains all of the keyboard hot keys for the profile. A keyboard hot key can be used to fire a command using your keyboard instead of your gamepad. Whenever Pinnacle detects that a hot key is being held, then it will fire the assigned command just as if it were a button on the game controller. You can use the 'New' and 'Delete' buttons to add or remove keyboard hot keys from the list.

Keyboard Hot Keys Properties
Here you will see the selected keyboard hot key's name and the command assigned to that hot key. Click the assignment label to bring up the assignment popup menu, then select a command from the menu to assign it to the hot key. You can use the dropdown box to select the configuration that should respond to this hot key, or you can apply the hot key to all the configurations in the profile. The 'Commands...' button to the right of the name can be used to access the standard Edit Commands window without having to close the Edit Hot Keys window.

Capture Keyboard
When 'Capture Keyboard' is checked, you can simply press any key on your keyboard to quickly select that key from the dropdown box. This allows you to create new hot keys very quickly!

Notes and Tips

  • It is generally best to choose a key that the game does not respond to when creating keyboard hot keys.
  • Not only can you create hot keys with the keyboard, you can also create hot keys for any of the buttons on your mouse.
  • Cycle Commands can also be assigned to a keyboard hot key, just create one or more cycle commands and then you will see them appear here on the hot key assignment menu.
