Configuration List
This list contains the names of all the controller configurations for the game profile. When you select a configuration from this list, the configuration will be displayed for viewing and editing. Use the 'New Configuration' and 'Delete Configuration' buttons to add and remove configurations from this list.

Config Name
View or modify the name of the configuration using the 'Config Name' textbox.

Device
The 'Device' dropdown box contains the name of the controller device assigned to the configuration. If you have multiple controller devices, you can assign a different device to the configuration by selecting another device name from the dropdown box.

Assignment Labels/Command Assignments
The 'Assignment Labels' display the currently assigned command for each of the buttons, joysticks, and dpad directions for the configuration. As you move the mouse cursor over the assignment labels, you will notice that the label will become bold, and you can then click on the label to display a list of available commands and other options. To add new commands to the list, select the "Edit Commands" item.

New Configuration/Delete Configuration
Use the 'New Configuration' and 'Delete Configuration' buttons to add or remove configurations from the profile.

Import/Export
Use the 'Import' button to import data into the profile, or use the 'Export' button to export the data from the profile. Besides profile data, you can also use these buttons for importing and exporting ImageGuides for your controller device.

Save and Close
Pressing this button will save all changes made to this profile and close the window. This includes configuration changes as well any changes made to your command sets (Commands, Cycle Commands, Joystick Commands).

Cancel
Pressing the Cancel button will discard all changes made to this profile and close the window. This includes discarding any configuration changes or changes made to your command sets (Commands, Cycle Commands, Joystick Commands).

D-Pad Style
The following 3 styles can be applied to a direction pad:

Setup Joystick
Pressing the 'Setup Joystick' button will display the Joystick Setup window, allowing you to invert a joystick's vertical axis or to adjust the sensitivity, deadzone, or range of an analog joystick. These settings are specific to the current configuration only. To adjust the default value for sensitivity, deadzone, or range, use the Default Device Settings window.
NOTE: There will be a 'Setup Joystick' button for each analog joystick detected on your controller device.

Setup Axis
Pressing the 'Setup Axis' button will display the Axis Setup window allowing you to adjust the sensitivity or range of an individual axis. These settings are specific to the current configuration only. To adjust the default value for sensitivity or range, use the Default Device Settings window.
NOTE: There will be a 'Setup Axis' button for each individual axis detected on your controller device.

Shifted Commands/Unshifted Commands
Pressing this button will toggle the displaying of shifted and unshifted commands. Using a 'SHIFT BUTTON' you can assign more than one command to a single button on your controller device. During gameplay, the button will fire either the shifted or unshifted command assigned to it, depending on whether or not the 'SHIFT BUTTON' is currently being held on your controller. If there is no 'SHIFT BUTTON' assigned for the configuration, then this toggle button will not be visible (since all commands will be unshifted).

Print Layout
Pressing the 'Print Layout' button will allow you to print the current configuration using your computer's printer.

ImageGuide Designer
Click the 'ImageGuide Designer' link to display the ImageGuide Designer window. From there you can import an image for your controller and select the image highlights that will appear as you assign commands to the buttons, joysticks, and direction pad directions of the device.

Quick Icon Toolbar
In the lower-right corner of the window there are several dimmed icons that will light up as you move the mouse over the images. The icons in this toolbar can be used as shortcuts to quickly access other edit windows (edit commands, edit cycle commands, edit joystick commands, etc). These icons also give access to keyboard hot keys and additional profile settings (that change the way that the profile behaves when playing the game).

Notes and Tips

  • You can right-click on a configuration name (or controller name) in the list to display additional options such as the abilitiy to duplicate a configuration or set a configuration as the default configuration.
  • When a command is assigned to the current configuration, it will have a green dot next to the command name in the assignment popup menu. If a command is not directly assigned, but is a sub-command of an assigned complex command then the dot will be blue instead.
  • Hold the CTRL, SHIFT, or ALT key on your keyboard when you click an assignment label to perform various alternative actions. Holding CTRL will cause an alternate popup menu to appear that contains "Quick Force Feedback" assignments, holding ALT will allow you to quickly remove an assignment, and holding SHIFT will display the "Quick Assignment" window (which can also be displayed by simply right-clicking the assignment label).
  • There are shortcut keys to open various windows (from the toolbar) by using the F3-F9 keys on your keyboard.
