Hi, please make sure you are using the latest version of Pinnacle at the link below...
http://pinnaclegameprofiler.com/file...nualupdate.zip
(just follow the instructions in the readme.txt file inside the zip)

This version should be able to read your wiimote directly and does not need glovepie or ppjoy.

I have the latest version of the software and it works great....except I can't get it to recognize the joystick of the nunchuck. It recognizes everything else, including the info from the accelerometer, but not the joystick. I thought perhaps the nunchuck was bad, but it works fine in Dolphin. Please advise. Thanks.

Hi, just to be sure please open Pinnacle and press the F4 key on the keyboard to display the "About Pinnacle" window. There you will see the version in the lower-left corner of the window... does that say v5.0.8 or v5.0.9 or maybe something else?

I'm using v5.0.9. I started with v4.5.0, but it didn't register my wiimote at all. What do you suggest? Thanks for your help.

Hmmm... I will have to run some test and see if I can find any problems. There is a new version going to be released in a few days and if there is a problem then it can be fixed right away hopefully... I might need you to run some more tests too then but I will let you know.

Ok, well I have not found any problems so I read your post again and now I'm thinking maybe your axis mappings are set incorrectly. Try going to PREFERENCES > DEVICE SETTINGS > ADVANCED, then click the 'show wizard' link at the top of the window. Follow the on-screen instructions of the wizard and make sure the green dots move in the correct directions on the tester screens.

I figured you wouldn't find any problems. That was the first thing I tried when I realized it wasn't working. Nothing occurring at all when I move the joystick. I've reinstalled Windows so I'll reinstall the program and see if it works this time. If not, I thank you for your help anyway. It's not important enough for me to worry about anymore and I'll just spend my money on something else.

Edit: I tried it again with a fresh install of Windows 7 x86 this time and the same problem. I'm not sure why the nunchuk joystick works with Dolphin and the physical Wii but not this application. Hopefully a future update will solve the problem and I can then gladly purchase this product. I'm going to buy another nunchuk eventually and maybe that one will work. Thanks.

Yes, please let me know if/when you get another nunchuk because I've never heard of anyone else having such a problem so I would expect another nunchuk might work. If that did work the same though, then I think a conclusion could be drawn that somehow your PC's bluetooth adapter was creating the difference in expected signals...

Hey Rob, this is rafarataneneces
I bought your software, and the program told me that my 15 time limit expired

I reinstalled a new version of Windows 7, so let's see, 30 days from now that message will appear

Anyway, sorry for the off topic comment, I hope you can help me know since you were resilient to help me unless I bought the software

so I did, and now buddy, I need your help big time

I spent around $70 on the Wiimote + Wiimotion Plus (black controller) and I couldn't be happier

However, EVERY SINGLE time that I want to use the remote, man, I have to press 1+2, go to Bluetooth, delete the previous device, add the new device, set the pairing, exit Pinnacle profiler, re-launch Pinnacle

Is there any way to automatic pair the Wiimote with Windows 7?
I have Windows 7 64-bit

Thanks a lot, and congrats for your software

I also want to know, where I can upload my Virtua Tennis 2009 profile, you can play tennis with the Wiimote, doesn't gets any better than that! (I can even turn the volume up or down from the same Wiimote, wicked!!!!)

I want to do profiles for all the Prince of Persia games as well
