You should always go into the game's options menu and "restore defaults" if you download a profile... that way you can be sure everything will match up as expected.

Is it possible to map a saitek joystick (AV8R-01) to work with this game.
I had a go at it but can't quite get it right! Any advice would be great!

It might be difficult to use a controller that doesn't have 2 analog sticks, because you need to be able to aim and also have a way to walk around (ie, move your feet). But there are some step-by-step instructions in the HOW-TO section of Pinnacle Help to assist you, just press the F1 key on your keyboard to display help. If you have any specific problems, please start a new thread in the tech support section of the forum.

how do I make it so when I let go of left trigger (aim down sight) it gets out of sight? Xbox does that and everything's perfect here except for that. It's real annoying to have to hit the button again to get out of aiming :P

you would need to set it so that when you let go of the aim down site button it acts as if you hit it again

Actually all you have to do is go into the game's options menu and change the right-mouse button assignment from "toggle aim down sight" to "aim down sight"... you don't actually have to change anything in the profile. dumky's suggestion would work too, but it is not as reliable as changing the setting in the game, so since the game gives the option it is best to do that way in this case.

Newbie here . . . . just bought this software . . . quite impressed really . . . autoloaded profiles for games already loaded on the pc, etc. couple of issues:
1. playing COD 4: modern warfare . . . all controls seem to work except fire/attack. the right trigger just leans me to the side . . . all other commands seem to work as described in the official profile (wireless xbox 360). the game on-screen instruction says to press the close box or something to fire . . . but the game manual says left mouse is fire, which is how it's configured in the official profile. I just want to fire/but don't want to change the official profile if something else is up.

2. unrelated to this thread, but is it possible to use this software to allow xbox 360 wireless controller to control MAME games . . . question would be how to point pinnacle to the game execution file, since it is usually a rom folder. . . . .like I said, I'm a newbie.

figured it out . . . the games settings had fire unassigned/unbound for some reason. set to default . . . works as designed. now to tweek . . . need the sight/zoom to come on when i hold down the left trigger and release when I release the left trigger, as opposed to toggle.

question number 2 still applies above. . . . anyone care to comment on use of this software for MAME games?
