Just been working on this profile I have got everything fully working and the right analog working at 50%. You can pull off the one touch moves but cant seem to get the proper control of the skill moves with it. Hopefully someone out there can figure it out and make a fully working version.
Yea, the way EA has setup the right analog stick for the "footwork/freestyle" moves makes it kind of difficult to reproduce this setup exactly; however, the SHIFT key on your keyboard can be used to do ALL those same moves. Here is a FIFA profile I made that uses LEFT SHOULDER as the "footwork/freestyle" moves (by sending keyboard key SHIFT). It actually works very well, you just press that button and then push the left joystick in 1 of the 4 directions, and you'll pull off the same exact moves you would otherwise do with the right stick. It might be worth trying that to see how you like it. And of course you can move the "footwork/freestyle" button to another button, it doesn't have to be the left shoulder button. Here it is if anyone would like to try it...
Most likely a Stupid question, but I'm assuming that I could use this profile with FIFA: Road to the World Cup 2006? I have yet to play Fifa 06 on pc, just not sure if the controls were the same or not. It would only make sense, but who uses common sense these days?
I can't say for sure because I haven't tried it either, but I think it's highly unlikely they would change the controls around because then people who liked their older FIFA's may get mad if EA changed up the controls too much. Anyway, if you have any trouble then hopefully the profile would only need minor adjustments if anything.
Don't know how old this fix is or anything, but I found this cool little site that allows you to setup up controls and make a EA controller config file on the site. Works great, and the analog sticks do all that they are intentd to. Works for both Fifa06 and Fifa:World Cup.
You can download and save the file anywhere on your computer... then extract the PIN file from the ZIP file. After that just go to GAME PROFILES > IMPORT in Pinnacle and find the PIN file to import it.
