Go back and read the first post carefully. You need to make sure the default controls are set in the game and you need to modify the correct oblivion.ini file.

I find walking around far to sesitive! thats my also some buttons seem to do to much

Do to much? Have you disabled the built in controls before using the profile as is described in the instructions for this profile?

i beat this game on 360 when it first came out, and i must say the botton config works seamlessly great work .there is 1 thing i was wondering tho, is there any way to disgaurd items from inventory a lil bit quicker then holding down the right trigger?

Hi, I'm not an Oblivion player myself, but there is some sort of "walk/run" toggle key on the keyboard and it's just that you have it currently reversed, thus it's backward in the profile when using the joystick. I'm pretty sure that it's the TAB key on your keyboard that you press to fix it.

If you are running when pressing joystick lightly and walking when pressing joystick all the way... then it sounds like your RUN and WALK have been reversed. I think probably pressing 'Always Run' (CAPS LOCK) should set this back the right way.

I have installed oblivion elder scrolls & patched it to latest 1.2 version, but pinnacle does not find it, and whn I manually create a path to it (oblivion.exe) in c:/program files /bethesda softworks/oblivion a& runb pinnacle update it says no configurations ( for xbox360 controller) - what am I doing wrong ?

I can download & attach your official profile manually but I shouldn't have to be doing that should I?

PS I've not yet decided whether to play this on PC or xbox360 as I have both versions.
is there a pinnacle profile that closely resembles the default xbox360 controls ?

Previously the only type of "official profile" were those that are also on PinnacleUpdate, but that rule has now changed... so while most of the "official profiles" are on PinnacleUpdate, some of them are not... usually because there are instructions that need to be followed in the post, as is the case with this Oblivion profile. In the future I hope to have a way to display these sorts of instructions to the user even when downloading from PinnacleUpdate. But this profile was never on PinnacleUpdate, so just import the PIN file manually (and as I mentioned, be sure to follow cid's instructions in the post).
