Be sure to follow the instructions in the first post to disable the built-in support. Sometimes people edit the wrong file, so make sure you have got the right one (as they appear in different locations I think). If you still have trouble, then make a new post in the tech support section of the forum.

Just import into Pinnacle and be sure to read the instructions for how to modify Oblivion to work with this profile.

Hey, I'm new here. Got suggested Pinnacle to use for gamepad support in oblivion, because the inbuilt support is horrendous.

I downloaded this profile, didn't find it quite to my liking so I changed a little something that seemed to be left out. I changed the left joystick's tilt range to incorporate holding and releasing shift down so it's like running on the xbox (pushing all the way up means you run, halfway is walking etc)

I wanted to improve this profile more so though, but since this is my first day of the trial, I was wondering if it's possible to have conditional key presses? For example, if TAB is pressed, then the A button fuctions as mouse button LEFT until TAB is pressed again, as having to press the right trigger to select items was rather annoying.
Although that's not going to fix the dialogue menu. I wonder if setting the attack button to something out of the way and piling a mouse button LEFT onto the A button would work

    Anyway, hi every body.

EDIT: Well that worked fantastically. Is there any sort of scripting in pinnacle? I'd really like to make a perfect profile that works just like the 360 version.
EDIT2: I think if there was a little scripting it could be done perfectly, with the minor exception of the map screen, which'd still need to be dragged

EDIT: Haha, whoops. Somebodie's already beaten me to the gun, and I didn't even think about hotswapping. Sorry Giradsummer, your's is probably much better :P

^ To do "scripting" just go to EDIT COMMANDS and create a new command. As for the other stuff you asked above, you can use a "shift-mode button" to change the commands assigned to other buttons on the controller. You can use it in combination with "sticky" behavior if you want it to be used as a toggle.

I'm sure that is a local problem on your PC, there is no explaination for why that would happen when downloading any file... in other words, regardless of whether you are using FireFox or IE or another browser, downloading a file should do nothing other than put the file on your disk.

Yes, it will work for PS3 controller too... after you install Pinnacle Game Profiler software just go to GAME PROFILES > IMPORT and point to the extracted PIN file you downloaded.
