After required reboot, will not load Windows XP

So I installed your program, to try it out. After installing, when I went to restart, everything was normal until reaching the windows loading graphic and proceeded to reboot, starting the process over. It continues to do this.

A few notes about my computer:

    WinXP
    AMD Athalon XP 3000+
    EVGA GEForce 6800

By the way, safe mode doesn't work either. ****ing wonderful. Thanks.

So apparently I'm not the only one with this problem. I repaired windows (instead of installing it from the cd) and it works again. I'll look for an older version of pinnacle game profiler.

    hmmm, interesting.

Least you had the brains to repair your installations, i just went for plain reformats without even thinking

Well from what you've posted if doesn't seem like we've got much in common with our systems.
I'll list my stuff in case there is anything though.

XP Pro with SP3 and all updates upto and inc march.
Asus P5Q3 mobo (latest intel p45 chipset @ storage drivers, realtek lan driver)
    4gb DDR3 ram @1600mhz
    GTX260 with 182.08 drivers
    X-Fi fatality with 2.18.0008 drivers
Xbox 360 wired pad with latest M$ driver

Dont think anything else would be relevant as, as stated in my thread this happened on a fresh to me install before i installed anything else except the above drivers.

    FYI i'm using 4.6 from here http://www.download3000.com/download...-reg-9831.html
worked fine for me, been playing BF2 all day.
Gonna try a later version 2mrw and go up and up till I find the culprit :P

Sorry to hear you are also having trouble... after seeing you both mention this I gave it some more thought as to what could be happening, and then it dawned on me what must be the cause... normally I make new setup packages on my XP development machine but I was unable to do so the other night and had to do it from Vista instead. Now I'm thinking the answer must be that some file in the package is intended for Vista and so that is likely the problem that you guys have on XP. Still it must not effect everyone because I'm sure you two are not the only XP users to install in the past few days since that package went up. Anyway, again I appologize for the troubles and I now have to clear my Vista machine to install another clean copy of XP and make the setup package there... that is going to take a couple hours of course, but I will definitely have this fixed tonight.

EDIT: Ok, I have fixed it and you can download the corrected setup here...
