Hey, Its been a BIG while since the last time I stopped by here.. almost 2 years wow.... anyway, I remember when I bought this piece of gold software and still in love with it, also I'm glad to see that u guys kept working on it (it now has wiimote portability).

Sadly I see that MS doesn't want to release drivers for the chatpad but I see that ps3's chatpad works over bluetooth...

My question is, does it work fine? I've seen it on gamestop and I really want to try it on WOW.
Also, does the new sony's dualshock3 can be linked/binded/mapped with pinnacle???

I personally haven't heard anything definitive on this yet. In theory it should work like a keyboard and let you assign keyboard hot keys to it. It's gonna take someone like yourself trying it out and letting us know how it works out.

Yea, if some tries this out please let us know if it works. I've googled around quite a bit & found nothing on the subject-NOT EVEN A MENTION OF IT!!! Which of course seems really bizarre considering the overwhelming demand for chatpad drivers.
With such a huge let down from MS it seems that this possible alternative would be all over the Internet. Perhaps people don't realise that you can actually connect a ps3 controller to a pc.

well since I move from town and have a new computer, I just bought a ps3 dualshock3 and a chatpad... also a BT dongle ... now Im trying to make it work... (downloading PGP also) any hope to mail me my unlock codes? ^^

such a big dissapointment.... the dualshock3 is recognized by windows as a ps3controller but when I start PGP I cant get it to work (press buttons, move sticks, no response) also the wireless keypad when I plug it into the usb... error, and I just cant see the way to pair it with bluetooth...

you need to install activation software to make the controller actually work in windows. check here http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=45209

Once you do that the controller will work . remember you have to activate the controller with this software every time you restart windows or your computer for it to work.

Can you be more specific about the issues you are having with the chat pad?

ok I tried that before and nothing happens, so I tried again, and till nothing happens, the controller is recognized by windows as PS3 Controller. But no input detected, not even on windows...

The wireless keyboard... it does not have a "pair" button so I can start scanning with the bluetooth...

ok I tried and tried and nothing... all the info is for sixaxis though.... this controller is dualshock3... (nextgen) and is NOT working... also got tired of bluetooth stuff and almost screw it for good. So, no more trying for me... I'll go back to good old 360 controller...

Yea, I had some trouble getting the PS3 controller to work in Windows at first too, but once I got it then it seemed to work everytime... anyway, if you decide to try again then FYI you can put that ps3sixaxis_en.exe file in the same folder as pinnacle.exe and then it will run it for you whenever it sees that it's needed.
