Software Download for Xbox Headset

Alright you guys already helped me out with the other download but i cant seem to download the software to be able to use my Headset...i know i need some kind of software to be able to use it through my controller, but like i said, cant seem to find it!

Once again, any help?

I don't actually use my headset on my PC, so maybe this info is not 100% accurate (maybe someone else will chime in)... but as far as I know there is no additional software required... possibly a setting change in Control Panel, but I think that the Xbox360 controller's headset audio uses the same XINPUT driver that you probably already have installed to use the controller in the first place (unless you are using a custom driver, like xbcd for instance).

I did use the headset a couple of times and there is NO NEED for an extra driver. The same XINPUT drivers that make the controller work are the ones that detect the headset. Once connected a headset, this plug is detected by Windows and installs the corresponding drivers.

I must admit that the quality of sound provided by this plug is not of the best I've experienced (pretty bad, actually).

PS: You may notice that when you plug a headset, Windows XP automatically sets everything so that every sound comes out through the headset. You can fix this through the Sound Options in the Volume Settings.
This doesn't happen in Vista.
