Hi,
I just made this profile. Works according to the xbox game settings.
Enjoy
Why? The game already supports 360 controller. Go into options, and enable it.
Pretty sure some people are having trouble with other gamepads though... also I heard the triggers are not supported on the 360 controller either.
indeed... that is what I noticed, hence this pid.
And there was a request in the forum..
I am playing Assassin's Creed right now with an xbox 360 controller.
It has a seamless support built in the game itself.
Both triggers work perfectly and rumble is perfect.
You cant change the default controls though, maybe thats why you have created the profile. But otherwise I dont see why ppl will need a profile to play with xbox r60 controller.
I have a generic gamepad, Ill try it and post the results here in some time.

hang on hellraiser06 - i am using the xbox 360 wireless.
it does have native support but:
a. i can change the bindings.
b. i didn't feel anything rumble..
I went into options and selected it from the control options. on the right hand side, where you find the keyboard bindings, i can modify the gamepad bindings.
can you tell me if your setup is different?
Hmm, all these complains may be coming from pirates who are playing its leaked version.
360 triggers do work perfect in final version, and there's rumble. It's a "Games for Windows" game after all, every feature is supported.
I have bought the original game.
Rumble comes when Altair jumps from a great height. So basically when he receives some damage to health, the conroller rumbles. Damage as in combat and falling from great height.
If he falls from less height such that he doesnt receive any damage, then the controller wont rumble.
i havent found a way to change the bindings. Maybe am doing something wrong. (although the controls are perfect, I dont wanna change em).
Also I have the wired controller.
plus, if you read the readme, you will find that rumble is supported only on xbox 360 controller.
also, make sure you are not running XBCD drivers( although I doubt if they support the wireless controller but just my two cents.)![]()
And also, make sure the vibration is on in the Options. its in Gameplay maybe but I dont remember.
Now, it maybe possible that you have the wireless controller, so you maybe having these problems but I highly doubt it as its a game for windows and is meant to support xbox 360 controller(although i have no idea it supports the wireless one).
Hope this helps.![]()

well, personally i don't think that "rumble" is an effect saved only for buyers of the game.
Anyhow, i am using the wireless controller and the rumble option located in the gameplay options but it cannot be changed.
I believe it is just one of those things. Similar to the missing bindings on your version.
As for the "game for windows" i learned not to trust this one...
man i can say that i use the original game and I checked to change the controls from default, but in case of xbox 360 controller I cant(but in keyboard mouse I can). Maybe its a bug and will be resolved in future.
And I sure believe in games for windows as now the game controllers actually work in the games. I still remember how daunting a task it was to configure the controller for devil may cry 3 for pc.......lol............
After all its the one GOOD thing that Uncle Gates has done after a looooong time.....![]()
