Game Profile will not work with Top Gun Hardlock game

I downloaded game profiler and when I try to use my joystick there is no response. I'm able to start the game from game profiler and I set game profiler to launch as persistent profile. My joystick is a Logitech attack 3, and my OS is windows 7 64. I'm still using the trial version before I buy it.

Did you download this Top Gun: Hard Lock profile?

Did you start PGP as Administrator?

When you installed PGP you probably allowed it to start with windows...Check in the system tray next to the clock after you start windows...If you don't see the PGP icon in the system tray look for the small white arrow and click on it to show hidden icons. If thats the case hence the reason why PGP won't play the game. Now shut down PGP.

Restart PGP as Administrator and see if it solves your problem.

Is PGP seeing your Logitech Attack 3 Joystick?

yes I started PGP as administrator and that didn't help, PGP is seeing my joystick, the profile I downloaded wouldn't work so I pasted the path of the shortcut and that starts the game, if this helps I am using directx 11.
