Event Step: "send behavior STICKY"
Can someone please explain how to use the "send behavior STICKY" event step? I am trying to apply it to the TAB key and then add it to a Double Command. For instance: pressing the controller button normally will do a normal keystroke, but holding the button and then releasing it will toggle the TAB key on and then holding the button and releasing it again will toggle the TAB key off.
OK here's the way to make the Tab key sticky; assign the command to the desired button on the controller, then click on the button and a drop down list will appear. Go down to "Behavior Modification > Enable as Sticky Button"
You can also assign the sticky from the Edit Command, press (F5) to bring up the Edit Command.
The other problem you may encounter is placing a double command with the sticky enabled, its best if you make it a single command because the sticky might conflict with the other command. And it will frustrate you while playing your game.
Right, that's why I'm asking how to use it as an Event Step as opposed to just assigning it to the button so that I can use it in a Double Command.
OK here's a tester profile with two double commands assigned to A & B buttons. One is Tap and Hold the other is Tap and double press.
The sticky is assigned to both. Pick your choice.
