keypad to controller interface
good morning. I have a microsoft/xbox wireless controller for my computer. While playing games, i am prompted to press a keyboard letter, i.e. f, g, or e, to activate a move in the game. Is there an internal switch in profiler that tells me which letter corresponds to which number pad on the controller? or is there a chart somewhere that i can memorize to know that the letter 'e' on the keyboard is the same as pressing down on my right toggle on the controller. any help will be appreciated.

Well, yes... I can tell you how to find that info, but it depends on the profile because if the profile uses "quick assignments" it will be different than if the profile maker actually created commands. If it is "quick assignments", then it should be pretty clear just by looking at the EDIT CONFIGURATIONS window. If the profile maker created actual commands, then you would go to EDIT COMMANDS and scroll through the commands to see which is sending the "keyboard key E" and then back on EDIT CONFIGURATIONS you can see which gamepad button is mapped to that command.

thank you for answering my inquiry however, i must be missing something. WHen i run the profiler, there is no icon or category for me to look at 'edit configurations' let alone access it. I purchased Pinnacle online, and maybe i am missing something from that download. I have the basic ability to look at commands, preferences, miscelaneous, game find, exclusions, etc. is there a category that i should have that is missing?? again, your help is greatly appreciated.

You are looking in the PREFERENCES window... it's not there. You need to click GAME PROFILES link, then EDIT CONFIGURATIONS button.
