Talking Panther XL USB version 3 internals information

    Hello, it's been a while.

I've been meaning to post this for the past few months but I never got around to it.

Anyway, currently I have 3 problems with PGP and my Panther XL USB ver. 3. Firstly, many times I have to repeatedly click "Play and "stop profile" ( sometimes upwards of over 15+ cycles ) to get my PXL working.
Secondly, while in-game, the auto-strafe feature will randomly turn off and I'll have to reposition the joystick at its resting position and then push it fully forward to get the auto-strafing to start working again.
The 3rd problem is that I have to disable one of the two AKI3 devices in the device manager.

In my efforts to help Rob fix the apparently incompatibility, I've gathered some more detailed information on the PXL ver.3 internals.

As I've said, it uses a B-Spec Labs AKI 3.0 Joystick Interface to convert all the analog signals into digital signals that are transmitted over USB.

What you probably didn't know is that this is just a circuit board with terminals, some passive components and Microchip PIC18F2450 at its heart. This particular PIC has dedicated USB interfacing functionality.

With this information, hopefully you can diagnose the cause of the above 3 problems.

    Regards,

I would very much like to see a solution to this, as I brought up the same issue with this controller last year:
