Does Pinnacle Support M.A.M.E. Emulators???
I have been trying to set up my Pinnacle to my M.A.M.E. but Pinnacle does not emulate the keystrokes for the program??
Any ideas on how I can get Pinnacle to work with M.A.M.E.????
Unfortunately a few years ago the MAME team decided to switch to a raw keyboard read method... for what positive affect, I'm not sure... but consequently because they are not reading the keystrokes through Windows it won't respond to emulated Windows keystroke signals.
I posted links to the last version of MAME prior to the raw keyboard change, so if you want to use PGP with MAME then you'll need to use this MAME version.
here is MAME (just the command-line engine)
here is MAME32 (wrapped in the user interface)
Thanx that version of M.A.M.E. worked with Pinnacle, to a certain extent though, for some reason I was unable to create multiple configurations for one profile, thou I was able to just create one, but when I created others they did not worked properly??
One thing I did notice... graphics for the ROMS that I have tend to look way better on the current version of M.A.M.E. that Pinnacle does not work with compared to the version you just gave me that does work with it.
I will just have to make due with what I have... thanx
I was also wondering, would you happen to have a Wii Profile for the Dolphin Emulator?
Also, can you think about including a Turbo feature in Pinnacle that lets you moderate your firing speeds, I noticed Xpadder has this feature an it is really useful.
There is the "rapid-fire" behavior modification... you can't adjust the speed there, it will just go as fast as a keyboard key can be sent to Windows and still read... but if you need more control over the speed of the rapid-fire then you just need to create a command. You just use the "loopback repeat" event step (then control the speed with a "pause" event step before it)
