I tried to make this similar to other console dungeon crawlers. Both analog sticks automatically start clicking 10 times/sec when you push them past 65%. Movement is nearly indistinguishable from regular console games. I'd recommend using the Left stick for general movement and the Right for Looting. Pressing the Right Trigger and Shoulder Buttons start firing. You'll stop moving and use the analog sticks to aim. Action bars are mapped to the face buttons starting with A = 1 and goes clockwise up. Left trigger enters Menu Mode for sorting inventory etc. releasing it closes all menu windows. Left Shoulder Toggles Health Display and shows loot on the ground.
Version 4.1 LS Move
Added second Configuration with Move only on Left Stick (no Mouse Click)
L JOYSTICK - Move > 65%: Move (Up Arrow) MAPPED TO MOUSE SPRING
L JOYSTICK BTN - Show - Health/Items
L SHOULDER - Switches to the original Mouse Click style move
NOTE: To use this configuration you will need to map the move function in Diablo III to the Up Arrow

Nice work GreyGox, looks like a lot of work was put into making this profile.
Thanks, I went through a few different version and got friends to try it out in order to get something that felt intuitive.
I started giving this some testing last night and it is VERY very good. The controls are quite intuitive and for the most part it works really well. I had just a couple of ideas or suggestions that at least for me, would make it a tiny bit better.
The first major issue is walking around with left analog will cause the character to shoot things if ranged, sometimes unintentionally pulling mobs or halting movement when lots of critters around and you want to be running. There is a keybinding that allows for button movement that will move your character but not interact with anything. I bound that to mouse3 normally. I was wondering if it would be possible to get the left analog to use that "move" keybinding as opposed to left click. I think that would make it really easy to run our character around, evade mobs, kite, etc and then use the right trigger and bumper to engage combat.
This being said, I do like having the ability to attack using the analog stick! It works particularly well with the right stick for melee and feels natural. Standing and shooting with right trigger makes a lot of sense for ranged classes, but as a barbarian simply walking into something and smashing it feels great. However, if you DO want to stand your ground using right trigger or bumper, the right analog stick will fire, but does not allow you to turn to aim. Is this a bug? Right stick looting works great as well. My only personal observation is I often would like it to be just a touch closer to the character, even shorter range if you will.
Lastly, and I do not really have any great suggestions for this issue, but "targeted" abilities are kind of hard to use. For instance, the grasping hands on a witch doctor that you would want to place out quite a bit, or the hydras from a wizard. At the moment during free mouse you have no way to engage an ability, and honestly the cursor movement is probably to slow for combat anyway.
Perhaps we could make Left bumper into a kind of quick mouse fire mode? Hold LB and then left stick would snap the cursor out a distance, maybe slightly farther than it does normally and then could be adjusted freely while in LB mode? I dont know the limitations of the program, maybe left stick would snap it out far and then right stick could make smaller adjustments.. fire the ability using RS, RT, or RB? At any rate, these abilities are the only tricky things I've come across so far.
All and all this script is amazing and I thank you for all your hardwork. It is 99% of everything I could want and makes the game much more fun for me as my hands do not go numb while playing. Thank you again for making this!!
Your idea fixed alot of issues i was having with every other profile on here for diablo 3. Just go to options in D3 and controls ... add a key binding for move (the one without the actions and clicks linked to it) ... i used up arrow for it ... then go to edit joystick commands in PGP and put up arrow past whatever %. now my guy dosnt run off aimlessly in a direction when the stick is released ... he dosnt engage things or continue towards something the cursor may have clicked when the stick was initially pushed etc. i havent checked yet but im almost certain this fixes issues with menus and quest dialog boxes popping up onscreen and the move clicking them ... or trying to click them and causing your char to freeze or not attack. (which can happen alot when azmodan keeps popping up to talk to you after killing a certain minion in battle.

all the other profiles work great for barbarians but this one tweaked like so is awesome for ranged.
Hello, thanks for the feedback
About the Move only on the left analog stick
I initially had the left analog stick set to move in one of my earlier iterations and decided to switch it for a mouse click because I didn't want other people downloading the profile to have to edit the key bindings and having the mouse click makes it more fluid going through doors and such.
That being said it may be a matter of personal preference and I have no problem adding it to an alternate profile. (Version 4.1 LS Move)
I tried setting up the Right Analog stick to work the same way as the Left for attacking but that caused a lot more bugs, and I couldn't get it working properly.
