How do I configure multiplayer controls?

I'm new to Pinnacle Game Profiler and I'm trying to figure out all the details. Here's what I'm trying to do now as best as I can explain: I downloaded SSF (Sega Saturn emulator). I have 2 usb controllers hooked up and want to set up 2 player controls for the emulator via PGP. I don't want to be a bother, but can somebody please give me somewhat of a tutorial on how to do this? I've been hunting online for information all day but I don't even know where to begin mapping controls for 2 player games. I can't map the controls within the emulator because I'm running into a common bug that just won't let me do that. So I have to map the keyboard controls using PGP. I previously tried to do this with XPadder and this is the problem I ran into: I mapped the SSF controls just fine and was able to use the controllers to play. But the 1st controller was controlling both Player 1 and Player 2 simultaneously, since I have no way of mapping different keyboard commands to each player. Any help would be appreciated.

You have no way to do that in SSF or in PGP? You can do that in PGP, but you would need SSF to be able to "receive" signals of 2 players on the keyboard (or allow you to use player 1 on a controller with built-in support, and player 2 on a keyboard/mouse setup... then use PGP to emulate the keyboard/mouse).
