    Unhappy 360 Controller no deadzone

I'm trying to play Final Fantasy 8 PC and my 360 controller is WAY too sensitive. I have downloaded the profile via the forums, but its still super sensitive. I tried moving the deadzone way out (even out to 100%) and its still moves on a hair. This tells me that I am doing something wrong. If you want to see what configuration I am using, its the exact "Final Fantasy VIII" profile on the forums. Please let me know how I may apply the deadzone to this, on a 360 controller.

Thanks for any assistance you might provide.

If it effects anything my OS is Windows 7 pro 64-bit

Please post your profile so we can check it out.

EDIT: I've take a look at the profile you posted and it seems to be good. However I do believe if you've read the guy's instruction where the profile is posted, it seems that he too was having similar problems. I really don't have that game for me to see whats the problem, but from reading his thread I gather that he also did some adjustments from within the game's option. So I think that you may wish to revisit his post and follow up his instructions.

Not to necro an old thread, but I too am having this issue. The instructions on the mentioned post are not helpful as the pictures the author had containing the settings are missing/removed. Anyone know what those settings were?

Try using a program called x360ce.

Helped me with the deadzone problem...
