trying to use PGP with mass effect 3, but it's not working...

    hey guys,

i downloaded PGP and then picked up the mass effect 3 profile. i installed it all and imported the .pin mass effect 3 file. i started the game up, but it's not really working. some of the buttons are working, but they aren't doing what the guide says they'll do and the joysticks aren't working at all.

i'm using a ps3 controller connected via usb. i also have a wireless 360 controller, but i heard that will not work without a adapter. is there a way i can use my 360 controller with a plug n play charge cable or do i have to stick with my ps3 controller?

    thanks guys!

I don't know much about those two controllers in question. I do know about the wired X360 controller.

Anyway concerning the wireless 360 controller it's supposed to work once you plug in the USB dongle or what have you for windows to recognize your device, and as long as windows does recognize your device then PGP will detect it. When you open up PGP your wireless X360 device will be seen in PGP and it will go through a button, trigger and analog stick test to make sure everything is functioning.

When its finished detecting, PGP is now ready for emulating your game in this case Mass Effect 3. If it is not emulating or receiving any signals from PGP to emulate the kb & mouse then you need to start PGP as Administrator.

Note: If this is your first time using PGP then you may need to read this very short Tutorial.

Alright, I'll try later with my 360 controller and see well that goes. I normally use The MotionInJoy program, but I couldn't get that to work at all with ME3.

Just to make sure, a wireless 360 controller should work with the plug n play USB cable?

As I said before I don't own a wireless device as the X360 so my best bet is for you to follow the instructions included in your package or you can do a Google search and see whats the best way to setup your device.
You can look at this video "How to play PC games using the Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver On Windows Vista/7 with PGP"

Ah, it's not working. I don't know what's wrong with it. It's detecting my PS3 controller as a MotionInJoy controller, so I don't know if it still has the firmware or whatever from that and that's the problem, or it might be something else.

The joysticks aren't working though, and the buttons aren't what the download said they would be.
