Saitek Pro Gamer Command Unit mode slider (revisited)
Hello,
I brought this issue up a while ago and had some back and forth with someone in tech support but i can't find my thread. In fact I can't even get the advanced search by user to find the thread I posted ten minutes ago but in any case I guess I'll start over.
I had previously mentioned as of build 6.x of PGP you can no longer edit configurations on the Saitek Pro Gamer Command Unit because one of the three mode "buttons" (it's actually a slider) is always in a pushed state. These show up as buttons 22,23,24 in both joy.cpl and PGP. As you can see below in the joy.cpl picture button 22 is pushed because the slider has to be in one of these three modes (buttons 22,23 or24).

When you first open joy.cpl or PGP the button is not pushed, however if you push any button or move the joystick the button remains pushed thereby making configuration impossible.
In PGP v5.3 the button does not activate into a constant pushed state and allows me to configure PGP properly. This has only been an issue from version 6.x to the current 6.3.3.
Is there a way to disable a constantly pushed button? Ultimately I'd like to use the mode slider as it was intended - as a shift-mode button or in this case a shift-mode slider. But I'd also be content with just loosing the shift modes and being able to use the latest versions of PGP.
Thanks

Hmm... I'm not sure what would have changed in the way it's detected from version to version. You can turn of response to the controller all together for EDIT CONFIGURATIONS window if you go to PREFERENCES you will see the setting under the "profile" catagory.
