    Where's the support hydra razer?

Glen Gives a basic overview of FPS controls on the Razer Hydra.

Has for the wiimote and not have to razer hydra? The wiimote can be a good controller, more in terms of accuracy loses for the hydra, which has the precision of a mouse, a air mouse, need not the pointer, as used in the wiimote, plus those who prefer the pointer, can be enabled on hydra.

What I find most interesting about it to the wiimote, is its huge capacity it can offer, for example, work with five different view modes for most FPS / 3rd Person games.
MouseLook: This is directly emulating a mouse. Use Button 1 on the right controller to ratchet the view.
FreeLook: This is more like using a virtual joystick. The further you move the cursor away from the center of the screen the faster it spins in that direction.
Dual Analog: This is like using a regular gamepad (left analog for movement, right for looking) except with a little bit of MouseLook enabled on the right hand which is great for fine aiming.
Hybrid: This is a mixture of MouseLook and FreeLook. The center of the screen is MouseLook surrounded on the edges by FreeLook. This mode gives you very fast and precise aiming like MouseLook but without the need to ratchet since you can spin the view by moving the the edges.
Akimbo: This is also a mixture of MouseLook and FreeLook. Mouselook is on the right controller but you can spin the view left and right with the left controller simultaneously.

Demonstration of the five FPS modes:

Other interesting capabilities that give an advantage to the hydra, in relation to the wiimote and a the traditional gamepad:

Are the spin calibration mode, users have still working in this mode, more with he it is possible to make a spin 180 ° without losing accuracy.

All this thanks to a software called: Sixense MotionCreator created by the creator of the hydra razer: That is a software application Delivers motion gameplay is published Virtually any PC game. MotionCreator motion Provides a compelling gaming experience is the most popular current and legacy titles across all genres.

Tests with games of various genres, including RTS and Adventures for fps then it is a wonder.

on issue, TPS, FPS, RTS and Adventures, the hydra was shown to be superior to a sony dualshock and ps move.

As you can see this controller is focused on competitive games and hardcore, something little explored in the wiimote.
Only one problem, though be a native technology for PC and power better exploit the capabilities of the hydra, how to create games based on the hydra razer, through the engines that support it:

    Unity
    UDK
    Havok
    .NET / XNA

    or

Transforming the hydra in an emulator to emulate peripherals such as steering wheel, joystick (for simulator), musical instruments, gamepads and wiimote ... is the key to emulate the keyboard + mouse, practically.

He fails at something very important, support, oddly enough the only games you can play with and the razer are Only games listed by the company, is not that the controller is not customizable, is which only the razer has not created a user friendly interface to the final consumer, is rather complex, where you need to know about codes and create a file in notebooks of windows to create a profile for the game, something regrettable, bad for those who like to customize controller's.

That's why we have not bought the razer hydra, because of weak support.
only what after I knew that the pinnacle game profiler was supporting the wiimote, I saw that you were the right guys to ask for some support for this controlle, since their support is more consolidated than the of razer.

So I hope the next version of pinnacle game profiler, you can improve what razer failed, through a more friendly interface to create profiles for games for the hydra.

Do not just put an editor to work with only the movements, but also for the five modes that I quoted above, that oferecerm a great advantage over the wiimote and gamepads traditional.

I tried a Razer mouse sometime ago, forgot the name of the thing, Razer Lachesiswas the mouse, just looked it up, the software was horrible, and the mouse had major issues, like jumping mouse cursor everytime I pressed a mouse button, also have a friend who also bought a mouse and it failed pretty quickly too. personally I wouldn't really touch any more Razer products, and this one seems just a gimmick to me. from what I read, it does have limited support for games, and some people have sent their back as they had issues with them

as for PGP support, I guess it will happen in time, but I can't see myself using one, and I think Razer's driver support is a major fail anyway. I think keyboard and mouse still will be better, even emulation from PGP may or may not be as good as keyboard and mouse. I just don't really seeing the thing taking off

But he was not meant to be a rival of the mouse + keyboard, but rather a great alternative to traditional gamepad and the wiimote

For those who want to build a HTPC just for games, movies and music, and likes to only use gamepads, found no better option than this, is the wiimote, more in terms of accuracy, the hydra is still the best for both fps and rts, despite limited support, remains a unique Peripheral for pc, with an incredible potential, you just need someone to explore it, that's why I have not bought the razer hydra,
when the guys of PGP explore the true potential and make it customizable oh yes we can say that the hydra can be really considered a true alternative to the mouse + keyboard, precisely because it has unique features that differ from the mouse + keyboard, so we can not compare it with the mouse + keyboard.

in the best of Hypothesis it should compared with the wiimote, we could simulate it with various peripherals a steering wheel, joystick, gun controller ... I do not see how to compare it with the mouse + keyboard, since they are peripherals only for specific genres like FPS, RTS and tps, the hydra and for use in general.
