    Xinput-Sniper Assistant problem

    I've got a good one for the tech lads ^^ i supose ill list out some details first...

    game: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (PC)

    KB/M ingame controls layout:

    up/down/left/right arrows= move up/down/left/right
    mouse= look
    mouse1(left)= fire
    mouse2(right)= take cover
    mouse3(middle)= aim down sights(toggle)

    Xbox 360 ingame controls layout (default):

    L Joystick= move
    R joystick= look
    RT= fire
    LT= take cover
    R Joystick Button= aim down sights(toggle)

    (you cannot modify the xbox 360 controller's buttons ingame,theres 4 different layouts you can choose from instead)

    anyway,my problem is this...
    i wanted to use my 360 controller to play R6V2 using the game's controller support rather than using pinnacle to emulate mouse/keyboard keys. But i didnt like the control layouts the game offered, so i decided to use the Xinput override option pinnacle has to swap around the controller's button layout. This was fine until i realised that i couldnt get the sniper assistant (which i assigned to the R Joystick Button) to work with my xinput joystcks. I tried to setup sniper assistant using commands and through behaviour modifiction but neither would work... any thoughts?

    (when an xbox 360 controller is enabled in R6V2 the mouse move and buttons are disabled,but most of the keyboard's keys still work)

    the question is- Does pinnacle Sniper Assistant work with an Xinput mapped joystick? and if so how would i go about doing it?

    If the answer is no then i think it would be a good idea for future updates to allow xinput and direct input to use sniper assistant, if possible =]

    thanks in advance.

    Can't say I have ever actually tried it, but Ithink it should do in Theory. You would need to have both joysticks assigned to their respective Xinput Sticks in Pinnacle and then assign behaviour modification Aim-Assist to the Right Stick Button. If Sniper Assist isn't working then you could try a quick adjust of the sensitivity. Also as the ADS is a toggle you would also need to make the Sniper-Assist a toggle by using a sticky modifier on it also, otherwise is woudl only work if the button was being held.
