Mass Effect 3

This is my first profile upload, so please bare with me if there are any snags along the way.
I began playing Mass Effect 3 with Errol's profile which I found intriguing, but a bit overly complicated. I decided to alter his original setup and set the controls up as close to the console version's controls as possible, but with the added bonus of shift buttons for easy access to all of your powers.

Please let me know if there are any issues. Please see the linked controller mapping for reference (Yellow text indicated functions when in Shifted Mode):



* (3/13/12: Made a slight update. You can now melee by pressing the right stick in while in shift mode. This should allow you to do running melees) *This had no real affect, but left it in.
* (3/16/12: Replaced Shift Mode Back function, removing Text Chat in favor of activating the Origin Overlay. This seemed like a more convenient command.)
* (3/21/12: Quick Slot 3 can now be activated by tapping Y. To toggle the command hud simply hold Y. The Quick Slot buttons have changed positions on the Y, B, A, and X buttons to keep the ordering clockwise.)

You did a pretty good job for your first profile. Nicely done. How did you label that pic? It looks great, I'd like to use that for my profiles as well.

the slot 8 is working great..i just press D-pad right then its slot8 and pointing too
but D-pad Left is pointing only..but not slot7..

cus D-pad left and right should be ur frineds power right and left
right is working..left no..plz man fix it fast
and also plz make the slot 3,4,5,6 ..cus they r not doing anything

really appreciat ur work..im new to PGP profile..thats why i dont wanna
corrupt the profile..so plz do this and i'll be soo glade

OK, I tested and it seems to be working correctly. I think you are just a little confused about the shift buttons. Everything with yellow text requires you to hold down a shift button, either Left Bumper, Right Bumper, or Left Trigger (Aiming down Sights). You can assign powers to Quick Slots by pressing Y and then clicking and dragging them from the section at the bottom middle of the screen into the Quick Slots you want them in at the top left of the screen. You can assign any Quick Slot to a squad mate's power when in a squad by clicking and dragging the powers you want to command into any Quick Slot location as well.
Without a shift button held down, the D-Pad is used for basic squad commands, such as attack (up), rally/group up on me (down), squad mate 1 move/attack here (left), squad mate 2 move/attack there (right). If you tell squad mates to attack in this basic fashion, they will choose their own attacks.

u mean i have to play with gamepad then i get back to keyboard to hold shift
then play pad and shift pad and shift???

or u mean there's shift mode in gamepad profile?

u mean LT,LB+RB = shift mode? holding them then use the quick slot and etc right?

EDIT: ok i tryed holding shift mode LB or LT or RB and choosing ASHLY power on D-Pad Left..but nothing hppnd!!!!
what to do man?
u made it easier with Liara D-Pad Right power and taking enemy to the air and shooting them
but couldnt with Ashly ? why bro..? what to do

Are you holding the shift key down while pressing D-pad left? You have to hold the shift key down. And make sure you have a power in quickslot 7. There's no reason it shouldn't work...
