Yeh, the trigger work fine on other games its just Mass Effect 3 and yes I looked at the tutorial and did everything it said to do.
As said in the tutorial the current setup is not class Alpha, so You will need to manually assign the commands to the triggers from the edit config window, Motioninjoy is still buggy but a new improved system is being worked on, and hopefully available in the near future. The easiest way to use the PS3 Controller on this profile would be to put the controller into Xbox 360 Emulator Mode in Motioninjoy, However manually assigning R2 and L2 buttons would also work.
I have manually assigned the R2 L2 buttons and also tried it with the Xbox Emulator just doesn't seen to be working but thanks for the help anyway.
OK guys I did another profile for Mass Effect 3 but less complicated, only one Shift Mode. I see most of you prefer the quick slot assigned to the A, B, X, Y, buttons so I decided to do it your way. I've practically done over the whole profile so feel free to use and modify. Its now posted as Mass Effect 3 (B).pin
Feel free to ask for any assistance with any placement of key bindings, sniper assist, analog stick sensitivity, etc. You can go to the original post and view the pictures of the controller layout.
Hey Errol, a simple way to improve on this profile would be to add the arrow keys to the D-pad. Not in place of the existing commands, but simply in addition to them. They won't conflict with the existing commands.
This will allow the player to control the cursor in the menus using the d-pad. It's a small thing, but I thought I'd mention it.
The Shift Mode works when you hold in this case the Left Shoulder button, then you'll get additional functions that is not available in the controller before you held that button.
Go back to the original post and take a look at the two pictures posted for the profile, you'll have a better understanding.
Left Shoulder button; Tap = Reload and Hold = Shift Mode.
Thanks for the awesome profile Errol. As always - simply the best!
