No, exporting your profile will not stop your controller or PGP from working. Try starting PGP as Administrator.
Don't do anything as yet. Let me check out your profile and I'll get back to you.

OK, what I'm seeing in your profile is the three shift modes blue, red and green. Its all set as a tap to fire first command and hold to fire the shift mode, so far its looking good but I don't see whats the problem you're having. BTW are you using an X360 device? I also see you have left mouse as tilted over at 5%. Is that the right thing you're doing? I also noticed that shift mode red and green have no commands to each triggers. Did you set it up that way?

I do run pgp as administrator everytime.

    I am using a xbox360 wired controller.

I have the camera set up as %5 instead of %1 for a little less "zany" camera movement there are no options in-game (Swtor) to change mouse sensitivity, so I thought this might work better.

As to not having commands on red and green mode triggers. Like I said work in progress. The problem I was/am having was setting up a double command for the trigger it seems the pgp does not recognize triggers as having two functions: push and hold.

I can not use my controller in-game, running as administrator. It did work now does not.

Back to an earlier thread you said
It seems as though the triggers, left or right do not register for double command assignments, in the window there is an option press any button to test fire, either trigger does not register as press or hold?
When you're doing the "Press Any Button To Test Fire" the triggers does not respond because it functions similarly to the analog sticks...you can press any other button/s just to see if it fires the way you want it, but that does not mean the triggers does not take double commands. After making the command assignments you can set it to any or the two triggers left or right.
Double commands on the left or right triggers...its tap to fire first command and hold to fire second command which in your case would be the shift mode of any sorts.

When I asked you about the left mouse as tilted over at 5%, what I meant was using the left mouse instead of the right mouse. That game uses the right mouse for movement etc and left for looting etc.

As for your controller, just double check and see if its recognized in PGP. If all you've said before is done already, that might be something to look at and also make sure SWTOR is checked Launch as persistent profile

The controller is recognized, and swtor is launched as a persistent profile. The issue seems to be everytime I create a profile it works. Then when I go back and change or add commands it no longer works. Any idea why this might be happening everytime? Once again the controller is recognized, running pgp as administrator and checked as persistent profile.

That sounds very strange. You are saying that you have a working profile, then you go back to EDIT CONFIGURATIONS to make some changes, and when you try to PLAY again it no longer gives any response? Or are you saying that just some things are no longer responding? Do the changes seem to be reflected on the EDIT CONFIGURATIONS screen when you return again?

Yes I have a working profile then when I go back to edit the config, to add or change a command the profile stops working alltogether, it no longer sends any signal to the game.

Besides having one minor issue with adding a third shift mode that would not save or be reflected when I came back, that resolved itself. All other changes I have made or make do save and are reflected when I go into the profile again. But once I make those adjustments the entire profile no longer works in-game.

Since I have not heard any response, I went ahead and un-installed, re-installed, and re-created my profile, estimated time:30-35 mins. The profile is working in-game which is great, but I am concerned that when it comes time to update my controls with new abilities in-game, it will once again stop working. Taking 30-35 mins everytime I want to change my profile is exhaustive. I would appreciate some feedback, help or advice. Or at least a cross your fingers hope it doesn't happen next time haha

Export your profile... then edit it as you wish. If you have trouble then, you can re-import it... but more importantly, this problem is impossible to diagnose or to fix if it cannot be reproduced anywhere other than you machine, and if the problem is resolved on your machine then it certainly is impossible to fix. If there is a bug that is not isolated to your machine, it's not something that is going to be easily found and fixed... I sort of doubt there even is an actual bug, I think it's something on your machine causing the problem. But there isn't any sense in me making some wild guess as to what kind of situation could cause this on your machine when it works fine on all others. If and when you see the problem again, then we could try to find it... but you could be looking for a needle in a haystack and when you finally find it, you might realize the needle fell out of your shirt when you started searching through the haystack (metaphorically speaking). The bottom line is that nothing can be done unless I can reproduce this on a development environment, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that I would be able to do that. So please just don't worry about what may appear again. Export your profile and your work will be saved. If the problem continues to plague you then I will make some effort to help understand what is going on... but this problem could consume weeks of testing just to determine that it is a 100% unique problem to your machine. If it is not currently broken, cool... let's both cross our fingers and forget it until if/when the problem returns.

    Hi there,

I read this thread after hitting problems with Pinnacle (trial version) and Errol's Profile B not working with my Old Republic.

The problem is that when I first installed Pinnacle, then installed Errol's profile B, the profile worked on a trial version of Old Republic I was running.

Then I upgraded my Old Republic account to full, and then after booting Pinnacle and using Errol's Profile B to boot the game, after loading the game it's like Pinnacle is not recognised by the game and no longer works.

I have since uninstalled and reinstalled Pinnacle Trial Version twice now and the problem is still there.

Can anyone shed some light on this; if you need some more info let me know.

    Current Config:

    Acer Aspire 8943g
    Intel Core 1.7
    ATI Radeaon 5850 1gb

Have you tried starting PGP as Administrator and launch the game?
Did you enable the Launch as Persistent Profile?
Is your 30 day trial up?
