    Help

I'd like to preface my post by saying that I've been using Pinnacle for a while, and it's awesome. I've been using it to emulate my Logitech gamepad as an XBox360 controller and it works like a dream. However, I was trying to use my two gamepads for splitscreen on Blur--I tried to use my Xbox360 controller for player one and my Logitech gamepad for player two--but I can't figure out how to do so. Also, I don't know where I should look to install the game hook, or if I even need to (it's the Steam version of the game). Any input is appreciated.

Firstly you need to start PGP in two instances and enable the appropriate controller to each instance of PGP. So lets say the first instance of PGP started you can enable the X360 and in the second instance you can enable the Logitech.

As for the hook firstly you have to know if the game does have support for gaming devices and if so check in the game options and see if you can disable it for only kb & mouse. However if you cannot disable the controller support, you may have to install the hook to see if it will work. To do that...the same window that you used to import the shortcut of the game in PGP there is a tab marked Advanced, click on it and bring it forward. At the bottom left you'll see the option to install the hook. Take a look at the pic below.

Well, the game (Blur) natively supports the Xbox360 controller. Is there a way that I can use the native support for the first controller and let Pinnacle emulate my Logitech as player 2?

Well, there's no way in game to map player 2 to the keyboard (as far as I can tell)--the only way to play splitscreen is with multiple XBox360 controllers. How do I set up my Logitech to be player 2? (It's easy enough to make it player 1 mapping the buttons to XInput.)

I believe that PGP also have a feature for Xinput which you can assign the Xinput to all the Logitech buttons, triggers and analog sticks. You can use the Xinput template provided by PGP when you drop your game's shortcut in the dropzone. Take a look at the pic. You can check Emulate XBox360 Controller. And leave all assignments as is and play using your Logitech device as an X360.
