Finally got my Razer Onza...

I finally got my Razer Onza Tournament Edition X360 Controller. It sure is lighter than my original X360 Controller. I do like the A, B, X, Y buttons which is all lit up. I also like the D-Pad the way its designed and the two analog sticks are a little longer than the original. The only thing that I have to get accustomed to is the Start and Back button which is located to the edge close to you rather than where the originals are, left and right of the Guide button. The Triggers are a bit unusual probably because I've gotten accustom to the original X360 Controller. All in all I do have a likeness to it and I also like the adjustments on both analog sticks to tighten or slacken as needed.

The only disappointment I have, the guy who bought it for me paid $65 U.S. which cost me $400 TT conversion rate 6 to 1 including tax clearance.

But Trinidad Tobago Dollar, a price of 400 US-Dollars would have to be called illegal.

I have seen this controller (normal Tournament Edition) lately here in Germany for 38,99€, so the value of 49,61 US-Dollar which is approximately the price that Amazon.com currently has.
These 65$ would have been fair for the Battlefield 3 or Dragon Age 2 edition, but for the normal tournament edition it was quite expensive.

The idea with the swappable elements of this controller is really nice. But sadly they didn't do that consequently and found a possibility to also include the action buttons.

You said the the triggers were unusual. Whats the the difference exactly (except how the look), do they have a shorter distance?
Also, this controller has just like my Cyborg V.5 a rubberized surface. Does it also "collect" finger prints?

Hi Errol, It looks like a decent pad, but it's expensive and almost a rip off. I have started using a third party PS3 Controller (Done Like an Xbox 360 One) using The MiJ Driver on my PC (i Reviewed it on here). However I may consider getting one, It would make it so much better if The MFB had propper Macro Support, and could be used with PGP. As for the Triggers its made of the same type material (a hard black glossy plastic) as the original X360 controller and the rubberized surface on the main body does not leave any finger prints. The controller's trigger is similarly made like a gun trigger is made just a little wider and thicker so I being accustomed to the original X360 kinda find it a bit unusual. The distance is basically the same. Its just when your finger is on the trigger it feels different to the original X360. If you look at the second pic in the op you'll see how the trigger is shaped and for me its tempting me to press on it to break it, thats the little end with the curve.

Yes Alec I have to agree with you on the rip off thing. What them buggers do is tell you online its e.g. $49.95 U.S. when in truth and in fact they charging you extra with Value added tax plus shipping & handling. Had I known I definitely would not have bought it, but because I gave my word to the guy who bought it for me and btw he did not take my money in advance so I would have felt badly if I did not keep my end of the deal and paid him for it.

And yes with your equation and comparison which is exactly right $65 USD or £40 to Trinidad and Tobago Dollars ($400 TTD) you're correct on that. To me thats the rip off, when they post a price tag and you have to pay another.

On another note, I actually buy these controllers to test each of them in PGP to see if any problems would arise, so at the moment I have a Microsoft X360, Logitech Rumblepad 2, Logitech Rumble Gamepad F510, Logitech Precision controller, Razer Onza Tournament Edition and a Saitek Cyborg 2000 Joystick but the Hat switch (D-Pad) is not working correctly. Rob has not placed any mappings for that particular Saitek Cyborg 2000 Joystick. So its useless to me in PGP, although PGP recognize it, but no proper configuration to it.

I have already read in a review that the trigger wouldn't be appropriate for racing games without a real comment why. So I guess they simply had concerns to break them off.
The rubberized surface of my Cyborg V.5 looks totally smudged now and actually I have clean hands. This is the first device I have with rubberized surface that formally seems to absorb sebum.

I have a very similar looking joystick, a Cyborg Gold USB. It has different colors, rudder control, 6 extra buttons on the socket and a working Coolie Hat. Also I have modified the trigger to work analogue and the former trigger button is now a button on the side I can press with the middle finger. Therefore the slider isn't working anymore (I never used it anyways). I use the joystick to play the most games with joystick and mouse.
It's also working without any problems with PGP. I just had to go through the device setup wizard with it. Of course no ready profiles can be used, but I don't think there is any sense to make a controller class for joysticks. There are too large differences.
