Im having some issues...

I just got this today, looks pretty awesome so far, but few issues. Firsty I keep trying to update the software and it keeps telling me I do not have a internet connection from Pinnacle Update. Then I tried to upgrade it manually and when I try to move and replace the 2 files, it takes forever and then Pinnacle doesnt want to start. Some runtime error. So I gave up... I have most of my games on Steam, and im not sure how to run both at the same time. I start up games directly in Steam and I would like to keep doing that. Just having the profiler running in the background would be cool. Please help!!

I don't understand how 'it takes forever' to manually update... I guess you mean that the software seemed to take a long time to load (and then possibly failed to load completely?). I mean, you aren't saying that Windows was somehow having a problem overwriting the files, right? As for why PinnacleUpdate is saying you don't have a connection, are you sure you gave it permission through your firewall? What firewall are you using? It might be an interesting test to temporarily disable the firewall and see if PinnacleUpdate will run for you then. Also you need to be able to access google because that is what PinnacleUpdate will "ping" to check for an internet connection.

You can setup your profiles to auto-detect any game, even those on Steam... so you can still launch the games through Steam and have PGP run in the background as you were hoping. What have you setup so far? Are you profiles working when you start them with the PLAY button?
