Skyrim: The Elder Scrolls V

OK, I have JUST started using my xbox controller on my PC for gaming, so I admit that although I am very computer-literate, I haven't sunk my teeth into this just yet.

So that having been said... I installed this profile, because I think the native settings for Skyrim blow chunks... But... The press/hold commands don't work. Only the "press" side works, when I hold, in game, nothing.

I checked in the profile settings directly and they work in there (did the "firing" test)... so I am at a loss as to how to make them work in game.

Can anyone help me?

P.S. I just tried making some changes to the profile just so I could open the map at least while playing... After making that change, I started the game and it didn't do anything.. so... I am thinking, the profile just isn't running. Which is weird. I have it set as a persistent profile and it opens the exe, but then it doesn't appear to actually be running at all as none of the dual commands work AND since I remapped the one command, that isn't working either, it still opens the "waiting" menu.

Much obliged for any help.

moirraine you have to start PGP as Administrator, because windows is blocking the signals from reaching PGP to emulate your game. Also check your game options and see if there is an option to disable controller support and using keyboard and mouse only. One more thing make sure and set your controls option back to its default settings.

Because of its native support for the X360 device this game may or may not play properly using the X360. I really made this profile with the intentions for users who don't own a 360 device but using any other devices to emulate there kb & mouse.

The game hook can still work to change XINPUT settings for games with build in support for X360 controllers.
