I hate the fact the xbox 360 games that appear on the pc require a xbox 360 gamepad to play or elese you have to use the keyboard. Isn't there a way to make the game think you have a xbox gamepad when you don't?
Because i don't think that if you play the game with game profiler you get the same optimization for the gaamepad as you do when you play with a xbox 360 controller like auto aim, vibration and so on.
I'm really not sure what makes you say this... as far as I know there are not any games that have gamepad support ONLY for the Xbox360 controller and not other controllers on the PC. I don't think there are any games like that... furthermore, even if that were the case it would be that the game only supported XINPUT and not still backward compatible with DirectInput... meaning Xbox360 controllers and several other newer controllers (like Logitech Chillstream for example) but again, I am NOT aware of any game like this... in fact it seems like very few developers are bothering to support XINPUT and are ONLY supporting the older DirectInput... which Xbox360 controller can use DirectInput too, but it loses the triggers and vibration and other potential problems. Pinnacle was one of the first programs in the whole world to support XINPUT, and yet surprisingly enough, there are still only a handful of games and programs that support XINPUT despite the enormous popularity of the Xbox360 controller.Originally Posted by winkus
BioShock and Gears of War are 2 that I can think of that wont see my Saitek (PS2 lookalike), Gravis Gamepad 4 button, Gravis Gamepad 16 button (PS2 lookalike) or my Sony PS2 controller using a USB adaptor but will see the 360 gamepad only. Thank god for this pinnacle game profiler app!Originally Posted by PinnacleAdmin
this this would work with my PS3 Controller..its the same button config. I guess trying wouldnt hurt.
