Yea, I just thought having another Wiimote capable program to test with would help to make sure it was not just Pinnacle having trouble connecting to your Wiimote.

As for the Sync button... yea, you have to press that on your Wiimote to connect it... but an easier way is to just press the 1 and 2 button at the same time.

anyway this is totally awesome! very nice work!!
There is no sensor bar support yet, only the "tilt-sensor"... but the nunchuk is fully supported, and you can MAP TO MOUSE on it's joystick.

i got a question, how do u hook up say 3 Nintendo Wii remotes at once? i tried using a dif remote, cause the one i have thats working on my PC, i use it for the nintendo, while i wanted my second one to be for the PC, it wont work, it keeps telling me to install HID drivers, and pinnacle wont read the second controller. only the first one lol, neither will bluetooth. ill keep trying lol

EDIT: nvm, i got it lol. but im still curious if u can hook up 3 wiimotes at a time?

Just create a profile and use the 'background profile' setting in PREFERENCES so it runs whenever a game is NOT running.
this doesnt work when pinnacle is run as admin, the LED light (number1) shuts off and it doesnt read the wiimote once u click on Background profile.

also, does any one know the shortcut key for the On-Screen keyboard? lol

ok, i figured out how to sync 3 wiimotes and etc. and also get the gamepad/classic controller up and running, but what i noticed is that, well umm, the classic controller left and right analog sticks seem to be wrong or not working right

i set the left analog to the arrow keys, but it somehow seems to read the arrow keys or ASDW, but also reads the mouse (while reading the arrow keys or ASDW). i put the right analog as the mouse, but it doesnt work at all. when it detected it threw pinnacle, when the configuration stuff pops up, the joystick 2 and 3 acted as one.

the other buttons seem to work, as far as i know. this is happening for the game UpShift-StrikeRacer, i havent tried other games yet, but this is whats happening so far.

also, the analog sticks dont seem to be very accurate, i push the analog straight up, it goes to the left corner and down to the right corner, no matter what i do, it only moves diagnolly.

also, i have a very hard time tryna sync the wiimote with pinnacle at times. sometimes its like, my bluetooth just unsyncs the wiimote and then its not connected ne more. best way for me to get it back is to restart, sometimes that doesnt even work.

So it works ok when you are NOT admin? Seems like a strange problem, but I will look into it.

Is this something that happened when you were testing with multiple Wiimotes? Or was this from just a single Wiimote attached? It really doesn't make sense how it could send WASD instead of ARROW KEYS, unless some other program was doing that maybe... you weren't running that WiinRemote program at the time, were you?

Is that for BOTH analog sticks? Where are you testing this? Are you testing a Notepad profile maybe? Or are you talking about the green dots on the wizard perhaps?

Well I know that if you are low on batteries it can be hard to keep it connected. When you try to SYNC the Wiimote (press button 1 and 2 together) you'll see the lights flash to tell you it's trying to sync... well that also shows you battery power... if all 4 lights blink, you are at or near full power... but if only the first light is blinking, you are probably almost out of battery life, and it can be hard to keep it connected then (unless you are constantly "talking" to the bluetooth, it seems to shut off).

it wasnt while testing with multiple remotes, the other remote was unsynced. the arrow keys and ASDW keys read as the mouse for the assigned analog stick i had put it as! (which was the left analog stick), i did not have wiinremote or Glovepie or ne thing of the sort running.

its for BOTH analog sticks. i was testing this out on a game, not on notepad or ne other program of the such. the green dots read both analogs as just one analog (while id move the left analog stick, both of the dots would move, almost as if its not detecting the right analog), and it does this for the games program as well. i had put the right analog stick as the "mouse", it didnt seem to work at all.

the batteries are full, all lights turn on. i have the Nintendo Dual charge station, so its always charging. ive tried the 1 and 2 buttons to sync, and it seems to give more problems then hitting the sync button. bluetooth always finds it and reads it, it seems pinnacle is not detecting it all the time. cause before, bluetooth would read it, then all id have to do is turn on pinnacle and then one LED light, meaning player one, would turn on.

yeah sometime pinnacle doesn't detect the wii mote for me too, usually i just restart pinnacle and it pops up.

something I've noticed is when playing an emulator with the wii mote and nuncuk is i get like lag(sort of). i press left to move and a millisecond later it moves, like its delayed.

ok, well, when pinnacle is run as admin, it detects it, when run as admin is off, pinnacle doesnt detect it at all. in fact, even when run as admin is on, it hardly detects it (it does, but u gotta try atleast 20 times before u can get it synced with pinnacle)

this is how the analog sticks work when pinnacle does detect the gamepad for the wiimote.

the green dots for the left analog stick work, its just say when i move the left analog clockwise, the green dot for the left analog moves counter-clockwise (like its backwards) and the left analog stick reads the second green dot which is supose to be for "right analog". but when u move it, the second green dot (which is supose to be right analog but is the left analog) seems to move only diagnolly.

also, it seems that if u have pinnacle running in the background before u try to sync, it seems it works better (not all the time, but it worked when i did this)

EDIT: it does sync when run as admin is off (still takes about 10 tries or so), but the set up for gamepad doesnt show up. everything is still the same (analog sticks i mean)

i guess until there is a fix, ill just use the wiimote/nunchuck.

KripTed, all these problems with the Wiimote/Gamepad... does Pinnacle actually detect the "controller" at "Wiimote/Gamepad"? Normall a "stand-alone" Wiimote will show up as "Wiimote/Nunchuk"... and of course you can attach the nunchuk and it will remain the same; however, Pinnacle should be able to tell the difference between nunchuk attached and gamepad attached... so is it saying "Wiimote/Gamepad" as the controller name when you have the classic controller attached?
