So unfortunately for now you can't really auto-apply for more than one controller.
It will be cool if the program can automatically apply the Wiimote configuration and also the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad configuration

Without using two instances of the program, would that be possible?

That would be cool, if I can chose which profiles to auto-apply

    Rules
    1) only one profile per device
    2) I can chose what profiles to apply (assuming I have 2 or more different devices)

If PGP were to try to handle more than one controller in a single instance, then BOTH controllers would take a hit in performance because the CPU still only gives it the same amount of time to do twice the work. So it probably will always take a seperate instance of PGP for each... however, part of the multiplayer overhaul I mentioned is an idea to have each instance be "aware" of the others, and that way it could morph into a single GUI display (yet two instances of pinnacle.exe would still run in the background). When that is ready you will be able to set the order of the auto-apply as you suggested, but again this is still quite far down the road before any of this would be ready...

Well, if it takes a while that's ok, but I think the idea is set

I know Google Chrome runs multiple instances of itself, one for each tab, and they all work together

Now a days with Intel Core 2 Duo, Core Quad, Core i7 and the new 6x processors, you can do wonders with multiple process

It's just a matter of configuring them nicely into one GUI

Last but not least, I should also be able to specify which profiles should automatically be setup

For instance, I will always setup one device as default

but if I go to visit a friend, I can configure Pinnacle to use 2 devices

Pinnacle should let me configure if I want to use 2 devices (from the auto-apply options), or only one

    Wii Mote IR

Does PGP support the IR in the Wii Mote? I have used a mouse emulator that uses the IR or the accelerometer for motion. The IR axis is a 100 times more accurate and very sensitive, you could practically draw with it (if you have a steady enough hand, which I don't, lol). The emulator was developed by someone in Japan and future development and support ended in Jan 2007. It was very well done but had room for advancements. I can give as much information as I have learned, if anyone is interested.

Hi, well IR support is something that will be coming in the future but is not currently available... I cannot say for sure when it will be ready, but it is something that is definitely going to be possible in the future. For now it is just the buttons, dpad, joysticks, and accelerators that are supported.

Well I've never tested the "pro", but I think it is essentially the same as the regular "classic controller" but with different button placement. In other words I see no reason it would not work through the same channels. When you say the joysticks wouldn't respond, where do you mean? Are you saying the don't respond on Pinnacle's windows like EDIT CONFIGURATIONS? Or have you tried using MAP TO MOUSE or something on the joystick and then PLAY the profile?

Yeah I thought it'd be essentially the same too, but I have a regular classic controller, and I have a classic controller pro. I got the regular classic controller to work perfectly, but when I switched it for the pro, the joysticks just didn't work. all the buttons and everything worked fine, it's just the joysticks. I tried running the wizard again where you can push all the buttons and wiggle the joysticks and it shows you what you're pressing...the joysticks work fine on the regular classic controller, but the classic controller pro's just don't work. has nobody else had this problem?

Hmmm... I think I will have to look into this more, maybe even pick one of these up. Unfortunately trying to make it compatible could be quite difficult, although I'm not sure at this point.
