    Arrow Dragon Age 2 profile

    Hi there!

I just created a profile for DA2. The right stick equals the camera (right-click held pressed and mouse inverted look) and the left stick is for the arrow keys (you'll have to change the Key bindings to the arrow keys in the DA2 config)

Also, the left trigger is the "Blue Shift" key which enables you, when held, to use the mouse as, well... a mouse. Clicking the right and left joysticks = the mouse's left and right buttons.

These are just some of the buttons I've mapped. I can now find everything I need to play DA2 right on my 360 controller (right trigger = R key, Back = Map (M), Y = Inventory etc., Dpad = F1 to F4)

    Have fun!

i have played the demo on boh PC & xbox. it will be tricky to emulate the xbox controlls fully, but some things can be standardised.
e.g. shoulder buttons to change characters, both buttons at once to select whole party.
A button for interaction, XYB buttons for abilities ( quick bar 1,2,3) then via shift with right trigger = quick bar 4 5 6. I looked for a list of console controls to post here but have not yet found one that I can paste in
other controller stuff is on radial menus and things like journal, inventory, character/level up are only accessed via the start button to bring up a menu. save & load is also on that same menu.
i think it's almost identical to dao (1)

control layout for the original dragon age attached.

better - I can type in DAO2 controls - I have it up on my other screen:
l trigger - radial menu ( set to hold or to toggle)
r trigger - switch to secondary battle menu
l / r shoulder - previous / next party member - both at once to select whole party
    d pad - select target
    a action
BYX battle menu shortcuts ( r trigger shifts to secondary set - current assignments to BYX is always shown on screen for the 3 buttons)
    back - open map
start - main menu ( where journal, inventory etc is )

    Hi guys,

I'm sorry you're having trouble importing my profile. This is the first one I ever did so I'm quite new at this. My version of Pinnacle is 5.5.8... Maybe it has to do with the version? Any thoughts?

captainsteff it has nothing to do with your version of PGP, I imported your .pin and its working great. For those NEWBIES who are having difficulty to import their Dragon Age 2 .pin may just be using an earlier version of PGP I suggest you update to the latest version at this link http://pinnaclegameprofiler.com/inde...ghlight=Update

For those Newbies who don't know how to import Dragon Age 2 .pin file: Open up PGPs main window, go to game profiles top right hand corner, click on it and game profiles window will open, on bottom left hand corner you'll see edit configuration click on that button to bring up the edit configuration window, here is where you can import your .pin file, take a look at pic below and follow the arrow with info. Hope it helps. (Thank you cybmole)

what you wrote makes good sense if "your version" refers to the profile maker's version.

if it refers to the person(s) complaining that import is broken, then it's confusing.

I get what you meant to say but had to read it a couple of times & think about it!

the other thing needed in that profile is useful labels so that rather than saying that B button = spacebar it should say that B button = pause, or whatever it is that spacebar does in the game.
There should be no need to memorize the keyboard controls if you are planning to use pinnacle instead of keyboard.

official profiles do have labels so it's easy to move things around when you don't like default layouts. it is tedious to set them up yourself, though.
