I understand it is a very hard thing to do and that programing is hard. I would just like to see how some features are progressing, I love the idea of a developers blog, just so people who cared (like me) could track PGP's progress.

Well Marco is right that we cannot give a specific time frame, that's never a good idea in programming I've found. But the development version of PGP that I'm using on my PC already is capable of remapping buttons and dpad, and axis/joystick will be ready soon... then it will probably just be a ton of testing and trying to combine all PGP's features in all the various combinations to make sure it works as expected under the many various ways things piece together. And it will need to be tested with tons of games since right now testing is being done with just a couple of games, but the different games will be tested by users in the beta testing process.

quick question, what sort of things will the new pgp be able to do. You say manipulate in game support, I assume that means Xinput Emulation & blocking it but will it be able to modify it in any other way.

It will be able to modify it in every way for both DInput and XInput... remapping buttons, blocking buttons, putting them in double commands, cycle commands etc, applying rapid-fire/sticky/etc, modifying joystick sensitivity, remapping axis assignments, translating deadzones and force feedback signals... everything...

I cannot wait for the new Pinnacle now. I assume it can't change on screen binding's (ie change where it says "A" or "B" in game to something else.)

Well if I understand what you are asking, most games when you go into the options menu and assign the controller buttons, they usually appear as "BUTTON 1", "BUTTON 2" etc... and so if you are wondering if there is a way to make that reflect something more descriptive like Xbox360's "BUTTON A" or "BUTTON B" and such... well if that is what you are asking they probably not, although I was able to do that with some games using a different method. But when I mentioned that it took 3 years of research to find how to successfully do this, I went through some other methods and was able to do just that... using the method that actually is being implemented though, probably would not have that ability. It's possible something like that could maybe be done one day but don't expect that any time soon.

I understand, I didn't really expect it to, There is currently no applictaion (I have found) Out there that works. Just thinking say in an Xinput game I wanted to change the control scheme via pinnacle it would come up with press A or B on screen during the game to preform a certain action and that would be incorrect if the control scheme was changed.

I started today on the developer's blog. It's going to be at the regular website. I'll post about it here when I put up the first entry.
