    Is there a profile for a store bought copy of MOH. I didn't download it via steam. So when I click the "play" button, I get an error because of the default steam path that is in the profile. Is it as easy as redirecting the path to where I have the game installed? If so, which one do I redirect it to? the MP exe or just the basic exe? Thanks for the help.;

    Hi askanison,

This profile works fine with all versions. First make sure you carefully read the instructions from the first post. The answer to your question is there. In the zip file you'll find two folders; one for singleplayer and one for multiplayer. Follow the instructions from the first post for the single or multiplayer profile.

Let me know if you have specific questions after reading the first post.

Thanks. I followed your instructions to the letter. I put everything in its proper place. My question specifically dealt with step 8. Import the attached .pin file and make sure the paths are correct in the profile. I didn't see any info on what the path should actually be as I did not download my version from Steam. If I missed some other info, I apologize. I just went out on a limb and put the path to the multiplayer .exe (mohmpgame.exe) and it worked. Your instructions were easy to follow up to that part. I was just unsure as to which path to use as the replacement. But anyway, thanks for the profile it REALLY HELPS. I do have another question though. The Right analog stick is mapped to camera/turning, but it turns very slowly. Is that just the way it is, or can that be tweaked from my end? Thanks again for all your help.

Glad it worked! The camera speed can be tweaked in either PGP or the game control options; the latter is easier to try. Just go into the game options and change the mouse sensitivity (I'm at work so I don't know the exact names of the options but I guess it's easy to figure out).

Hey rehab. Thanks for the profile. I seem to be having problems w/ the MP portion of the profile. For one the keybinds for the pad are still present in the game settings menu. I followed the readme and placed everything that needed to be where it was suppose to be into the required files (i am attaching a print screen of where I put everything just incase I goofed somewhere). When I do run the game with PGP everytime I move forward with the left analog stick my char throws a grenade, and jump seems to be disabled.

I just purchased the game this weekend from D2D and the SP portion of the profile works w/ no problem. When you get a chance could you help me out? I'm running the game on windows 7 64 bit. Thanks.

Edit: Nvm. I found out what the problem was. The pad keybinds were being blocked even though they were still being shown in the game menu, but apparently under movement in the profile the command to move forward was "W" and "MMB". That's why everytime I moved my char would launch a grenade lol. Also under jump the command was "enter", not "spacebar". Not sure if this was an error or you did that on purpose as a swap feature. Regardless I modified the profile on my end and she's working great now. Thanks.

Yes. This was done intentionally. The MMB while moving is done to workaround a known bug. If you removed the MMB from the profile you will notice that the trigger won't work once after a respawn or entering a menu. The MMB fixes that. If the MMB triggered a grenade, it means that the copying of the input files was not successful (MMB was remapped, among other things) so steps 2,3,4,5 were not successful.

So, please, follow all steps again and re-import the .pin and see if the grenade is not triggered by MMB:

    1. Make sure Medal of Honor Multiplayer is installed and start and exit the game.
    2. Goto your "Documents & settings"-folder (Start-> Documents) and find the folder "EA Games".
    3. Go into the "Multiplayer"-folder (if not present, start the game once and exit out of the game)
    4. Create a new folder there, called "input" (if already present, delete the folder and its contents!)
    5. Copy the contents of this "Input files"-folder into this folder

    6. Goto the folder where your game is installed (where "mohmpgame.exe" resides). On a 32-bit Windows 7 system with a Steam-installation this will be "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\medal of honor\MP".
    7. Copy the contents of the "Put in game directory"-folder into this folder. (this will kill the default joypad detection of the game to prevent interference)

    8. Import the attached .pin file and make sure the paths are correct in the profile.

Let me know if you still have issues.

    1. Download and extract the attached .zip file, [R3H4B] Medal of Honor 2010 V2.zip

    2. inside you'll see two folders:

Enter the folder you want the profile for and inside is the .pin (among other files as indicated in the first post)

Let me know if you still need help.
